This product is extremely helpful when preventing hangovers or recovering from hangovers. There are more electrolytes in it than in most sports drinks, and it has far fewer calories as well. When you're using to reduce the effects of a hangover, I recommend drinking half the bottle about 15 minutes before bed Take 30 minutes before you go to bed, and then 20 minutes after The amount of water to drink is 24 ounces. Drink about 12 ounces of water in the morning, followed by the other half of the bottle. I usually consume this after a moderate amount of alcohol the night before. I recommend consuming one bottle in about an hour and then following that up with about 32 ounces of water the following hour if you are using it for a hangover. Then follow up with another bottle of Pedialyte in the next couple of hours if you're still feeling dehydrated.
There is a special kind of Pedialyte as opposed to the regular For me, it is a much more effective method. Probiotics are present in this kind, but not in the ordinary kind. It is usually accompanied by a sour stomach or other digestive symptoms when I have a hangover. In my experience, drinking the advanced kind of ginseng seems to help keep them at bay. My regular consumption of the product does not induce this reaction.
