There is no guarantee that this purchase will work out. Although I received my bitters online today, I was disappointed after I first opened the high amount of bubble wrap that the cap had been broken and no safety seal plastic or sticker was applied to provide assurance this bottle was brand Although the broken cap did not have those, the bitters spilled all over the bubble wrap, I am not sure if Bitter Cube normally has those. It is hard for me to visualize how the cap could have broken in all that packaging and cardboard box it came in (again, it was hard to open) so I'm left wondering if it was damaged from the beginning. As for the Trinity bitters themselves, the flavor profile is fantastic. Three bottles later, I'd have my fourth bottle of the product. As well as being great for coffee, it is also great for adult beverages.

Also, I am not sure if I got a defective bottle, but the top does not quite close, looking at the bottle from the side, the cap is very very slightly tilted where the top hole does not lay flush against the cap white material to fully close. As it does not appear to be damaged, I cannot determine if there is a design issue here. As for the taste, it's an underwhelming one, like big red gum or something, I get a hint of sweetness and lots of cinnamon, that's all I get.

It is highly recommended that you check out the recipe in Sother Teague's book "I'm Just Here For The Drinks" and give it a try.
