While the replacement kit is functional, I believe there are a few things that people should be aware of. 1) The replacement joysticks aren't "exactly the same as the thumbsticks that came with your controller. " " These are more difficult and time-consuming. grooved? than the ones that came before The gripping on the original joysticks was only on the very edges, but these replacements have more gripping. If the difference in hardness or gripping bothers you, I recommend purchasing something else. 2) The bent tip of the long spudger (the tool for opening the controller's grooves) broke while I was trying to use it. I hadn't even started on the other side. I tried the smaller triangular one, which was much more effective. One of the tools broke before I could fully utilize it for the first time, which was disappointing.

My right thumb stick's rubber began to peel away, which was a fantastic product. These were ordered to replace the one that had been damaged. A total of six replacement joysticks are included in the package. All of the necessary tools are included. With the included screwdrivers, it's simple to remove the controller's five screws. My only complaint is that the plastic used in the pry tool to remove the controller's plastic cover and access the screws is a little flimsy. It served its purpose, but after a few uses, it will most likely need to be replaced. It's not a major issue because the price is so low. However, I was able to replace both joysticks without difficulty. It took me about 10 minutes to complete.

What you pay for is exactly what you get. Although this set was less expensive, it served its purpose. The fit is good, and the installation was not difficult. You can tell they've been replaced, and the tools that came with the kit are basically useless because they were broken during the first replacement. If you want perfection, spend more money on a different set; if you just want to get your remote back in working order, this is an excellent purchase.

Was it true that it came with everything I needed to fix the thumb sticks? And when it arrived, I discovered that the box had been slightly crushed in the mail, which gave me hope.
