I didn't pay attention to the reviews for this item. It went well for the first two months. It was completely silent for two months before beginning to make noises. I assumed my neighbors were mowing their lawn because the noise was so loud. Then it dawned on me that the noise was coming from the power supply. I'm pretty sure the seller is aware of this at this point; Considering how many reviews claim that the brick makes a noise and only lasts a few months. The seller appears to be still intent on defrauding those who are unaware of the situation and in desperate need of the brick that Microsoft no longer offers. I'll have to go out and get another power brick now. I'm going insane from all of this noise!.
It was delivered in less than 24 hours after I placed my order. br>I plugged it in, and my Xbox came to life. br>After a week of use, there was no fan noise. br>Now the real test will be how long it will last and how quiet it will be. br>Thus far, everything has gone well.
It's perfect, and they've had a lot of fun with it. I would strongly suggest it.
We have an original XBox One first-day edition with a broken cord. After reading several articles and the Microsoft website, I concluded that it was the unit, and that I would have to send it in for repair. But then I decided to just try a new power cord because it was so cheap, and I was up and running again in no time. It's been months since I bought it, and it's been running smoothly.
This is likely quieter than the OEM brick, and it isn't even hot to the touch. Excellent work. I would strongly suggest it.
It really works.
It has the same appearance as the original power supply. After a couple weeks of caution due to reviews I read about fire and standby, there have been no problems since October. The shipping was a day late, but that was due to USPS issues, which have become common in recent years.
It works great, especially for the price, and it looks exactly like the one that came with my Xbox One when I first got it.
