Questions & Answers
I don't have a definitive answer to this question, but I can say that Xbox One controllers will work with the Series X, so you'll be able to use it for those at the very least. As an Xbox One owner and (hopefully) future Series X owner, I hope the answer is yes, but I would gladly purchase a Series X version to complement this one.
Yes, you can, and it's well worth the investment.
No, this charging dock does not include any controllers; the image depicts how the dock would look if the controllers were connected.
The claim that it includes an AC adapter is completely false. I don't have one to recommend because I used mine with an Xbox One, but the previous response is incorrect.

m. , then it's dead by 8 p. m. I'll try other batteries and update this review if they come close; otherwise, I may have received a dud. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The performance of the other battery appears to be better, but it is still not up to par with the advertised performance. It also requires six people. Charging time is 8 hours. I'm plugging into a 2 amp outlet, which should be enough. I'm going to try out an exchange and see how it goes. br>br>News for January 2021: br>It's been 18 months and I'm down to just one battery pack; the other three have all broken tabs that hold the cover to the controller in place. Fosmon sent me two new packs, but they broke as well after a few weeks, bringing the total number of broken packs to five. Tabs appear to be very thin and can't withstand being replaced on a regular basis. Because my son works long hours, we don't use a charging controller and instead change out battery packs and charge them individually. However, this necessitates constantly removing packs; I suppose if they were left on, they would have lasted longer. With my energizer, I didn't have this issue. I only replaced it because of the recall, but now I'm looking for a different brand. I'm giving it one star because of the issues listed above.
After that, a small part of me died on the inside. When I first tested the Quad Pro Controller, it worked as expected; however, when I unplugged the USB cable (to place the device in its designated location), the internal connections fell off and back into the unit. br>br>I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else or if I was given a defective unit. br>br>What irritates me is that I didn't set it up sooner and ran into this problem during the return period. br>br>Once again, the device performed admirably when I tested it. br>br>I'll try to contact Fosmon to find out what my options are, but I'm guessing I'm out of options. br>br>Fortunately, I bought it when it was on sale, but it wasn't cheap enough for me to be satisfied with only one charge cycle. br>br>I'm giving it three stars because it worked as expected and I previously purchased a different Fosmon charger, which is still going strong. It's not fun to be the unlucky recipient of a manufacturing flaw. br>br> |br>br>Unless there are a slew of positive reviews like mine, I'd still go ahead and buy it. br>br>Wishing you the best of luck.
The next day, the package arrived exactly as promised. Two battery packs are held in the base, and two controllers can be charged in the top cradles. The design is well-thought-out, and the entire unit is small and unobtrusive; the LED indicators on the front of the charging base are a great feature, and they're clearly labeled so you can quickly determine the status of each of the four battery packs charging. Unfortunately, I noticed right away that the rear controller cradle was not charging (no LED indication at all, as if the controller was not on the cradle), and there were several reminders included in the packaging to register the product with Fosmon and contact information for customer service should you have any issues. The rear cradle's charging pins were completely missing, according to a quick inspection. A replacement cradle was on its way after just one email to Fosmon Support! They apologized for the problem and explained that manufacturing and quality issues can happen, even if they are rare. Fosmon clearly values both customer service and "brand integrity. " I think the charger looks and works great, and the company is dedicated to making sure you're satisfied with it. I highly recommend this charger, and I will definitely consider Fosmon's other products in the future.
Simply place your controller on top of this one, and it will always be correct. The older model required some tweaking now and then, and the one thing I haven't figured out is: I keep a couple batteries inside the charger, and they charge to 100% while I watch TV or play a game, and when I turn the charger off and on again, the batteries charge Is it possible that the charger is simply checking the voltage for an extended period of time? br>br>Update 1/9/22br>br>br>Update 1/9/22br>br>Update 1/9/22br>br>Update 1/9/22br>br>Update 1/9/22br>br>Update 1/9/22b.
I wish I had purchased this sooner; it paid for itself in just a few weeks. We switched to YouTubeTV through the Xbox, and I finally realized how many batteries we were wasting. I can't speak to whether they last as long as they claim, how long they take to recharge, or how often they need to be replaced, but my son and husband play games and we use the controller to control the TV, so we don't need to replace the battery packs very often. We simply ensure that we charge the old as soon as it dies in order to maintain a consistent supply. We haven't used it as a controller charging dock very often, but when we do, it works perfectly. We will never use alkaline batteries again for the controllers.
Then, earlier this week, we attempted to replace one of the battery packs but it refused to come out. We discovered that the charger had melted the battery pack after prying it out. Everything about this product was great, except for the fire hazard, which I hope was an isolated incident.
) To provide power, I had to purchase an AC power block to plug it in away from my Xbox, which made charging extremely slow. The micro USB port is extremely fragile, with four bright green bars that BLINK when charging instead of a red/yellow/green charge indicator. It's extremely aggravating! I had to tape them down so they wouldn't draw my attention all the time. In a dark room, it's excruciatingly bright! This is a Christmas present I'm giving away.
I adore the fact that there are four batteries included! With three Xbox Ones in the house, this is ideal! I also like how it plugs into the Xbox, allowing you to keep it close by without using an outlet. I've tried a few different brands and styles of batteries, and they all wear out quickly, and it's difficult to get them to charge properly. With this one, no way!.
