Wii with Wii Sports Game - White

I've had my eye on a Wii for quite some time. When I finally got around to ordering one, it arrived damaged. I contacted customer service, who advised me to purchase a new power cord, which I eagerly received. But, no, there was a PlayStation cord in the box as well. I'm sick of this nonsense, and my husband almost got electrocuted while attempting to connect it. Now I'm irritated because they told me the only thing I could do is print out a return form and mail it in; I'm a stay-at-home mom with limited transportation; all I want is a working Wii! Why am I being treated differently when they can replace my sister's and mother-in-law's belongings without any hassle? I'm a prime member, and I was sent something that could have been harmful to us and messed up the rest of the house's electronics. I have pictures of the cord, but I can't seem to upload them.

So, I was looking for a Wii that had been previously used. I'm not going to go into detail about the console. Instead, I'll talk about what I got, how quickly I got it, and how it arrived in good condition. br>br>For starters, Fedex delivered my package in two days. There isn't much to say about that. Was well- packaged. Second, there's the listing Used - Everything in the box was advertised in the excellent listing I purchased. All of the manuals, controllers, the console itself, all of the connections, and the Wii Sports game were all present. br>br>Last but not least, the console is in good working order. I tested everything and it appears to be in good working order. All of the disc slots, USB ports, SD card slots, video, power, and sensor bar ports were put to the test. The console itself is in excellent working order. Actually, it's not that old. There were no scratches or signs of physical wear on it. br>br>There is only one issue, which is why I gave it four instead of five stars: as you may know, the Wii comes in several different models. I assumed I'd get a Gamecube backwards compatible version based on the picture. That was not the case. I got the later model, which is designed to be laid flat and does not include Gamecube ports. I don't mind because I bought it to play Wii games and I still have a working Gamecube. Because of this, and because the Wii is still relatively new, I'm keeping it rather than returning it. However, I hope that this serves as a warning to anyone considering buying a Wii from this listing. There's a chance you won't be able to find one that works with the Gamecube.

This was purchased as a replacement for my old Wii console, which had broken down. When I saw that it was supposed to come with Wii Sports, I ordered it because I had long since lost my old copy. The Wii console itself was in good condition when it arrived, but the copy of Wii Sports was completely missing! Instead, it came with a bowling game I'd never heard of, a game called Epic Mickey (which I didn't care for), and when I turned on the Wii, I discovered a scratched and unusable copy of Mario Kart Wii inside the Wii (I guess the Wii had shipped all the way to my house with a stowaway game). I'd give it a 5 star rating if I'd gotten what I paid for, but I digress The Wii is great, but I have two games that I didn't want and one that doesn't work, so I don't have the game I wanted.

Thankfully, I double-checked it before wrapping and giving it as a gift. The discs are not read. What an embarrassment! I knew ordering a used electronic over the internet was risky, but I'd previously trusted Amazon dealers, which I no longer do. I'm going to return it, as well as the other games and controllers I bought. It'll be a depressing Christmas for me, but I've learned my lesson.

When I first received the product, I noticed there was no disc inside; I contacted the seller and was told I needed to download the disc; he sent the code, but no instructions on how to do so? As a result, I chose to continue with the game console connection. Because the censor was cracked and damaged, I had to use the sensor from my Wii to connect the game. The game began to play, but the remote was not connected. I'd had my Wii for a long time and had completely forgotten to pair the remote with the console. I looked on YouTube for a how-to video and found one. The new console's remote wouldn't pair, so I used the remote from my old console, which worked fine. My son came over and connected my game to the WiFi, and we went through every option on the game, attempting to figure out how to download the Wii Sports game using the code the seller emailed me. I got a lot of errors and tried a lot of different things, but the code wasn't working. I emailed the seller again, this time including all of the details and everything I'd tried. I inquired if he had any other codes or suggestions for troubleshooting. "I see your item has been shipped and you have received it," the seller responds. That was the final straw for me. I'm currently packing this item for return as I type. I'd give it a 0 out of 5 star rating if I had the option. I suppose the least I could say is that when I received the console, it was completely wiped clean.

I will undoubtedly return everything. The console is filthy in and of itself. Due to corrosion, the controller contains batteries that appear to have been in there for a long time.

He only wanted a Wii for his birthday present. Several tears were shed. There was no response from the seller because the remote did not work. I had to go somewhere else to get another one. I finally got a new remote and was able to use the console, but the disc drive is broken and simply spits them out. It was a complete and utter waste of money.

This is a pre-release version of the product. I bought a pre-owned product, and when I got it, it was as good as new. My toddler was ecstatic because it came with everything he needed.
