Selected User Reviews For Nintendo Wii Console Japanese Version (Black)
I used to have a Wii, but it died a few years ago. Because of Wii Fit and other fitness games, I eventually decided I missed it. I'm ecstatic to have received this! It works perfectly. br>**Edit. The Wii has stopped working and displays an error message stating that the disc cannot be read. The manufacturer, according to the seller, should be contacted. As a result, I've spent $190 on the Wii and a slew of games. br>I am extremely dissatisfiedbr>**UPDATE. After contacting the manufacturer, I discovered that my Wii was manufactured outside of the United States. The system was unable to be repaired as a result of this. However, I could send them my Wii and they would replace it with a refurbished model for $100. I contacted both the seller and Amazon, as I was extremely disappointed and felt duped. Although the seller has not responded, Amazon is handling the situation. Thank you so much, Amazon!.
In the United States, it works perfectly. My wife had a Wii for a long time, but we had to replace it because it was constantly overheating. This one appealed to me because of the price, which was about half of what you'd expect to pay these days. All standard peripherals and the U. S. version of the console work flawlessly. As any Wii would, it comes with discs and other accessories. I say that because the fact that this is the UAE / Saudi Arabia edition Wii was not disclosed to me when I purchased it. When we first saw it, we were concerned that it would not work in the United States. However, it functions in the same way as a standard Wii console. If anything, the fact that some Wii console instructions are written in what appears to be Pashtun Dari or another Middle Eastern dialect is novel.
I'd like to watch Netflix on my TV but don't have access to the internet. This was suggested by my daughter, and it's fantastic. My wonderful husband ran a 50-foot Ethernet cable from my DSL modem to my Wii, which I connected with a "DuaFire Nintendo Wii USB Enabled Lan Adapter. " I'm not sure what that is, but it's fantastic. I suppose there are games as well: That is something I haven't looked into. (I wish it came with a manual, but I was able to figure it out on my own. ) ) You can also watch Amazon Prime, but be careful because you might end up buying a lot of things!.
I bought it so that I could play my GameCube games on it. I read a lot of reviews that said it wasn't backwards compatible and couldn't play anything from the GameCube. This was a complete blunder! I'm able to play all of my GameCube games with ease, and I've had no issues; every piece that I expected arrived in perfect condition. I didn't care about the lack of a Wii Sports disc because I didn't buy this Wii with the intention of playing that game. Just remember that YES, THIS PRODUCT CAN BE USED WITH GAMECUBE GAMES!.
I am extremely happy. Everything was brand new, sealed, and in perfect working order, and it was legal to use in the United States. It came with the console, the sensor, a remote, and a rubber jacket for the remote (thank you!). A nunchuk, as well as an AV adapter and cable, are included. br>I'd like to thank Amazon for making this possible.
I got it for a good deal online, and it works, so I can't say I'm disappointed. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's missing the SD card slot cover (which can be replaced for about $2 US on the Nintendo America store's "refurbished" section) and has "pry" marks all over it. It was clear that the console had been opened, or at the very least that an attempt had been made to open it. It does, however, continue to play my games, so whatever.
Very let down. Because I wasn't sure how reliable a refurbished one would be, I bought it new. The Wii games run smoothly, and the console does not get too hot. I attempted to play a GameCube game for the first time yesterday, but the system refused to recognize the disc. I tried a few games to see if it was a disc issue, but it wouldn't accept any of them. I'm afraid there's nothing I can do because the return/replacement deadline has passed. I paid the extra money to avoid problems like this, and I'm disappointed that half of the feature I wanted isn't available. I received the system in new packaging, and it appeared to be brand new, but since the disc drive will not accept GameCube discs, I'm not so sure. Very let down.
Yes, we're a tad behind the curve. I believe it is sometimes beneficial to refrain from purchasing everything as soon as it is released. We are able to save a significant amount of money by doing so. The system was brand new when we got it, and we've been having a lot of fun as a family playing it together. I wish we'd had it this winter when we were trapped inside for a month.
