Yes, I think so. I have a rubber shell that fits perfectly; I suppose it depends on the thickness of the plastic shell.
My phone is protected by a different case, which actually fits better.

The case is incredibly well-made and fits perfectly. You can tell that a lot of thought went into this, and I'm impressed by how well everything fits together. It comes in a soft foam case. It won't keep you safe if you drop it, but if you put it in a padded backpack or another carrying case (like the TOMEE "Wii U" carrying bag), you won't have to worry. Under the controller, there's enough room for one large stylus and two smaller ones, as well as a spot for a cleaning cloth or whatever else you can think of. There's also a mesh on the top half of the screen that you can use to carry things, but don't put anything up there that could scratch the screen. br>br>It also comes with a clip that you can use to attach the case to something, but I wouldn't recommend it for such an expensive piece of equipment. Nonetheless, you're getting a great case for the money, thanks to the great form fit, extra accessory space, and sturdy construction.
I don't have any protective skins or a hard case on my gamepad, so I'm not sure if they'll fit. What I do know is that a standard gamepad fits snugly into the molded tray, and that this appears to be a sturdy case in terms of drop protection. If you're going to put your gamepad in a box, you should get a more durable protective case. This case can support some weight around the edges where the zipper is, but the middle is a softer material that could still damage the gamepad inside if something heavy is left on top. br>br>For the price, this is a good gamepad protective case. It doesn't have a slick or posh appearance. It's essentially a large eyeglass case with a gamepad molded into it. On the inside, there's a small net where you can stow paperwork or other items. It won't win any beauty contests, but it gets the job done and makes you think that if you dropped it with a gamepad inside, it would be worth $15 in terms of damage prevention. If you want a durable, hardened case, you'll have to pay a little more.
I have a bad habit of dropping things. This case is well-made while remaining lightweight and drop-resistant. This is the case for you if you're like me and carry your WiiU with you wherever you go. There's even more room inside, so I keep my three chargers, as well as some earbuds, in the mesh compartment; I also have a new 3DS and a 2DS, and all three chargers fit. The case comes in three colors, but only the blue one was eligible for Amazon Prime at the time I ordered, so I went with that. When I'm on the go, I clip this case to my backpack with a carabiner clip so it doesn't take up too much space in my bag. br>.
This protective case has made me very happy; It's the perfect fit for the controller, and I'm much happier putting it away in this case than risking it falling on the floor or getting all dinged up. It also has a useful netted inner pocket for cords and other small items. I'd buy it again because of the quick shipping. seller's description was accurate.
After reading that these gamepads are not sold separately, I purchased this case to protect my prized possession, and how fortunate I am that I did so at the right time! I have porcelain floors, and I dropped my gamepad the other day, but no damage was done because it was in this case. This case did exactly what it said it would do: it protected it! This case is a "Must Have" for anyone who owns a Wii U! This is a case that I wholeheartedly recommend!.
This has room for my Wii U gamepad, which is protected by a HORI case, as well as pens and screen cleaning cloths. When the gamepad isn't in the case, the pens don't stay in their spots at the bottom, but other than that, I love this product because it protects my gamepad on long trips, which is exactly what I needed it for. In my opinion, it performs similarly to a hard case. I have a Wii U carrying case, so I'm never worried about the joysticks getting squished. I use it all the time (because I take my Wii U on vacations and to and from college).
This is a fantastic travel and storage case. This is where I keep my gamepad so that it doesn't get lost in a bag. Satisfied to the hilt.
This was a gift from the gods. When I store things, I try to make as much space as possible, but I was always worried about scratching my gamepad, so I had to find just the right nook to keep it safe. I no longer have to be concerned. The case is very secure when closed, and the gamepad does not jumble around much. It appears to be extremely safe. This would also be useful for transporting your Wii U over to a friend's house. The only problem is that you can't charge it while it's closed. Aside from that, it's an excellent buy. I strongly advise you to do so.
