When plugged in, it would tend to disconnect and reconnect to the charger when placed on a different surface. There is nothing more subtle than a barely noticeable movement that causes As the brightness varied, this slowly got worse to the point where it continued almost nonstop if the screen wasn't totally still, and the screen flickered constantly as the brightness changed due to the ever-changing light situation. Connectivity status on chargers can be changed. The problem could have been with the charger, battery, or the gamepad's port. After testing the charging cradle's port and seeing that the problem still occurred, it was ruled out as the gamepad port, considering I had never used the As well, I did not believe the battery was the problem since I keep it charged 99% of the time. When I plugged in my new charger, I saw the orange LED turn on for a few seconds (the battery discharges even when the gamepad is off). The gamepad fit into the case very snugly, so it required a bit of work to plug it into the controller. I switched on the Wii U then to see how it worked. The gamepad was on for the entire day, and I used it for a couple hours. I never noticed the screen flickering, nor did the orange LED indicator come on while it was plugged in and operating. The verdict was in my favor Having a very tight fit on the new charger solved the problem of the old charger being loose. Among the pros Please note The USB charging cable works just as well as the OEM one. It is not necessary to use Please note A good deal. Buying a brand new charger from Nintendo's online shop will cost you about $20. I think it costs $15 to have it refurbished. A similar one was less than ten dollars. Please note It is ideally suited to create a safe connection to the port since a loose connection is not an issue, at least for a while. Please note I would guess that it is a foot shorter or more, at least, because the side of the power brick that plugs into the outlet is actually a few inches longer than the side that plugs into the gamepad/charging cradle. It didn't occur to me to measure or to look up the exact dimensions. Even though the size difference was not a big deal for me considering my setup, I did use a Command adhesive strip to mount the power brick to the side of my nightstand, near the top, in order to allow the charger more wiggle room to do its job. Please note A cable fitted too tightly into the charging port makes it almost impossible for the device to charge. The first couple of weeks were challenging because I wasn't prepared for this. Please note Since it's not OEM, it may not last as long as you'd like. There is no way to know until time passes. Please note The USB port on the power brick does not connect to the charger. This could be beneficial to some since it would be easier to plug into a computer. Although I don't have a need for a USB charger, I can see how it would be preferred by others. If the investigation lasts fewer than two years, I will post an update. In the past, the cable had worked okay for over 2 years in some cases if the new one fails a lot sooner, I will notify you. of now, I give it a 5 out of 5.

There is already something wrong with it. Our condition is similar to those of others, as we must hold it in place or wiggle it. The problem has now been corrected, but it doesn't work anymore.

I somehow managed to cut a chunk out of the power cable of my original WiiU, and some of the internal wires became I guess it's all good then?
This wire works great and is a great replacement for the original.

It arrived really fast sooner than expected. I was able to plug in the adapter and it was perfectly adapted to my Wii U game pad. Would I recommend it to someone? Definitely.
