You can purchase a refurbished one directly from Nintendo. My old Wii U Gamepad charger was chewed up by my cats, so I bought the product in order to replace it. For the price it was, I honestly didn't expect to get that much from the build quality. However, I didn't expect it to be this bad. That is probably my fault for not checking reviews before buying the charger.

It seemed to work well as soon as I received it. I took it out of the package and it didn't do anything. In summary, I rated it as a good charger because it charged my game pad with no troubles out of the box. However, that's all its credit is worth. My first impression of the charger was that it felt cheap when I took it out of the package. The price, again, is very cheap I got what I paid for. plastic on this power brick felt hollow and cheap to me, so I was worried that it would break. This is like an action figure from a dollar store. This item was so heavy that I was worried I was going to crush it. There was a rattling sound going on inside the brick on top of the cheap feeling. It was initially the plugs, but after holding them in such a way that they wouldn't clack against anything, I heard a rattle in As I said, I am not an electrician, so correct me if I am wrong, but if your AC adapter is rattley, it may not be safe to use and could cause a fire. *br/
I would strongly recommend that anyone looking to purchase this head over to Nintendo's website. These adapters come with the console as part of the package it comes with. They have refurbished adapters available on their site. The adapters are slightly more expensive than the originals, but they come directly from the Wii U manufacturer themselves and are identical to the originals.

I was so disappointed! My husband and I compared a lot of cords before deciding on The trouble came quickly, but it has been a problem since the start. Similar to a broken cellphone charger, it takes forever to charge. Wrapping it around your Wii is necessary so that it can charge at all Please do not disturb the U unit in any way. The purchase was not worth it to me. It is possible that I just received a loose plug.

There is nothing special about this charger - it is made of cheap materials The replacement charger for the Wii U GamePad is manufactured in China. It is probably not as surprising to me as it is that it barely functions at all, but I can't help myself. Especially when it comes to products "recommended" by Amazon, I just don't expect them to be defective. Due to the design of this charger, it will charge your GamePad for a few seconds at a time, then drop the connection for a few more moments, and then re-start. It would re-establish a connection for a very tiny fraction of a second, and then lose it again, all while the charger (and GamePad) barely moved or were not You will see the red blinking light of your GamePad if it is plugged in and charging, but the screen will continually flicker because the GamePad can't decide when it is in "battery save" mode. There will be a lot of time spent blaming yourself for "moving" too much and trying many different positions in order to make this charger work properly, but it will inevitably fail because it is so poorly made you feel almost cruel for having made it so deceptively.

Make sure you are careful when purchasing! Our game pad worked initially, but stopped working again after some time. My first assumption was that the battery was bad so I purchased a new one. I was able to fix the problem once again after my new battery had run Having already thrown out the old battery thinking it was bad when I realized it was probably the cord, I was unable to switch it back. All I had to do was buy a cable from Nintendo and everything worked fine. After spending quite a bit of time and money on this crappy cord, I ended up buying an altogether new battery and wasting one that would have worked just fine. It would be nice at least if I received a refund for this one!.

In the weeks following Christmas, my son asked for a new charger and he was thoroughly disappointed when it failed to Aside from that, he never got the chance to use it. As I bought it a few weeks before Christmas, I had no time to save the packaging and didn't bother returning it or trying to exchange it instead we just threw the packaging The products are not tested before they are sold, so buyers beware.

According to customer reviews on replacement WiiU gamepads, most were refurbished, and most customers were unsatisfied with the quality. It cost at least a hundred dollars for you to go down that road. We chose this option because it was more affordable. I received it on time, connected it to the gamepad with no problems, and it began charging immediately. Our charger has been in use for an extended period of time and there haven't been any problems It takes about 30 minutes or an hour to fully charge the gaming pad. It does not cinch. The WiiU charger often gets left charging by my son when he plays for a long time or watches Netflix on it.

A part of the power supply was broken during shipping, so I'm not sure if that happened When compared to other items ordered for an Amazon, it was not enclosed in a box. Anyway, you bought cheap, so what you got was garbage.
