The PS2 games can be played on the 120 GB system. PS1 and PS2 games, as well as PS3 games, can all be played on the 500 GB system.
If you're wondering if it comes with a DVD player to play PS3 games that you can buy at your local store (along with DVDs and Blu-ray discs), the answer is yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes If you're wondering if it comes with a hard drive, the answer is no. You can buy a hard disk drive for it, as well as a frame to hold it and allow you to screw it into the console, which is what I did. If you don't buy a hard disk drive, you'll only have 12 GB of internal memory, which means you'll only be able to play one or two games at a time.
The ultra-thin hard drive must have a capacity of two terabytes. 5 inch sata drive with a 5400rpm speed. As a result, if your hard drive meets those criteria, it should work.
I've never had more than five, and I've never had a problem with it. It also depends on how big the games are that you play.

This is the second PlayStation 3 I've purchased. The system is fantastic. At the same time, I ordered a mounting bracket and a 500GB hard drive ($32 on Amazon). When they both arrived (and before I even used the PS3), I simply attached the hard drive to the bracket (which took about 5 minutes) and inserted it into the PS3, and I had a 500GB PS3 system in no time. This is a fantastic offer. Personally, I wouldn't pay a premium for a 250GB or 500GB system when it's so simple to do it yourself. Turn the PS3 on after you've plugged it in, and it will format the hard drive for you. If you're unsure about doing it, there are a plethora of YouTube videos available. It can also be used for purposes other than gaming. The PS3 is a fantastic Blu-ray player. a player for rays It's also simple to watch Netflix, Amazon, or YouTube. My son and I now compete in video games on separate television sets. It was a great deal of fun. One thing to keep in mind is that you'll almost certainly need a PS3 remote control to use it (and they're not cheap). The system's game joystick can be used as a remote control, but it's a little wonky for that. Also, I'm aware that the PS3 consumes a significant amount of power, so you should probably turn it off when not in use.
NO). To begin, I am satisfied with my purchase and would make another purchase. In terms of condition, the price was reasonable. However, a console with numerous scratches, a binding creaking sliding cover, and a side plate that I had to crazyglue on because the tabs were broken does not qualify as Very Good condition. As a result of this, I have a three-point plan The use of stars was excellent. The controller is a genuine PS3 controller that can be charged. JMS HOLDINGS deserves credit for replacing the cables and installing a 120GB hard drive as a bonus. The system was dust-free on the outside, worked flawlessly, and was reset to factory defaults. Thank you, br>.
Loved it, came with an extra game which for me was Uncharted 2, free multiplayer just needs wifi no payments, only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't Bluetooth my phone onto it or plug my phone into the ps3,so I had to get a USB stick, also the updating, but when I renew my phone I get a free one day internet boost which allows me to update my games since I have hotspot enabled, and I could use a hardrive because I.
It came equipped with a drive bay and. I was going to write a harsher review because I thought I clicked on a "Like New" item when, in fact, the one I ordered was "Very Good. " It's not the first time something I ordered on Amazon specifically for something stated in the quality changed when I tried to complain, but until I remember to start taking screenshots, I guess I'll have to live with it. br>br>I was going to be harsher because I ordered a drive bay and a 12GB PlayStation 3 with the expectation of using an old drive and calling it good. It arrived with a drive bay and drive already installed, as well as the original packaging I thought I had chosen. I'd be much more dissatisfied if it was still listed as "Like New" and still came with that packaging, but in the context of the current listing, it's fine. br>br>With the exception of the non-profit sector, original packaging (the listing no longer suggests it would have come with that) and the presence of a drive (less of an issue and more of an "I ordered something extra I didn't need" situation). " type of thing), the only real issue I had was an extremely embarrassing Mini USB cable. Because the one that came with it was all weird-looking on the controller end and wouldn't stay in, I used a different one I had lying around (I am the type to have various cables lying around). Thankfully, those are only a few dollars each to replace, so I'm not too concerned, but that, combined with the inaccurate listing (the drive part, it was clearly listed as not having an HDD in it) and the fact that I had to go get a file for a USB stick to get it to start up enough to install the drive, feels like enough to give it a 4/5, though if we had a finer-grained system, we could give it a 5/5. I would have given it a 4 on a fine-grained rating system. Instead, I'll give it a 5/5. br>br>So far, everything appears to be in working order; the replacement cable is charging the controller, so there are no problems there; it connects to the network via wire or wireless. I didn't bother testing the older TV connection because HDMI works fine and that's all I cared about anyway, but games run just as well as they do on my brother's PS3, and the few other "apps" I'd be likely to use seem to work as well as they should on such an "old" system (that it is a PS3, not this specific model, I know this model is physically newer). I'll probably replace the drive with a faster one /someday/, but for now, this meets all of the criteria I'm looking for.
When I opened the box, the top of the playstation was wide open, exposing the disc lens; when I plugged it in, it was a black screen; the picture they showed what I was buying was a completely different playstation; I feel like the 3rd party seller duped me into what I was buying; it was a Christmas present for my son; I received it on Christmas Eve; it did not work; it ruined my kid's Christmas.
