This model suits me perfectly
5/5

After owning an original 3DS XL for quite some time, I decided to purchase this. br>br>First and foremost, the galaxy skin is very nice, with a more metallic finish than shown in the product picture. br>br>Secondly, the galaxy skin is very nice, with a more metallic finish than shown in the product picture. The 3DS is dark purple on the outside and dark blue on the inside. The ABYX buttons have the same color scheme as the Super Famicon controller buttons. br>br>Every button has a satisfying press and click. They have a slightly silkier finish and are firmer than the original. The clamshell screen clicks and locks with more force than the original. br>br>There have been some changes to the buttons and ports. The stylus is now located on the right button, the audio jack is located on the bottom, and the charging port is located on the top. The game port has been relocated to the lower left, and the volume control has been relocated to the upper screen's left side, parallel to the 3D slider. The start/select buttons have been moved directly beneath the ABYX buttons, and the home button has been changed to make it easier to press. An extra set of shoulder buttons, as well as a faux-fur collar, complete the look. In addition, an analog stick has been included. The new design appeals to me more than the previous one. br>br>The "super stable" 3D feature, which tracks your head and adjusts the 3D automatically, makes it a lot more pleasant and usable than the original, and I've found myself using it more frequently as a result; however, it doesn't seem to work well in a dark environment. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with this 3DS model and would recommend it to others.

This 3DS looks fantastic, runs smoothly, and I'm extremely pleased with it. It's time to use the fire emblem and smash everything.

I have never owned a more beautiful handheld device! Better than the 2DS and 2DS XL in terms of quality and design
5/5

This is a lovely console, and it's by far the nicest handheld I've ever had. I upgraded from a 2DS and then a 2DS XL to this, and it was well worth the extra money. I had my 2DS for a few years and had grown tired of the uncomfortable wedge-shaped design. Smaller screens and design I upgraded to a 2DS XL, but I'm not happy with it. The 2DS XL is fine, but it was too small for my larger hands, the screen was far too loose, and both the top and bottom screens had quality issues. While the 2DS XL is superior to the 2DS, it is clearly a budget model. The top screen, too, appears to have a design flaw- It bends and breaks easily due to its thinness and flexibility. br>br>I fell in love with the Galaxy 3DS almost immediately after opening it. The device's exterior is a deep purple with a gleaming metallic finish. In person, the stars/galaxy design almost appears 3D. The galaxy design has a glossy finish rather than the satin finish found on standard 3DS models. The top edge and interior of the 3DS are a dark blue that is both visually appealing (blue is my favorite color) and hides fingerprints better than black. Another difference is that the top screen of the 3DS XL is surrounded by satin plastic, as opposed to the 2DS XL's all-glass top screen area. Because the 2DS XL is so reflective, it can be difficult to see in bright environments. The 3DS XL Galaxy's exterior design is, in my opinion, flawless. It's a lot more mature than the two 2DS games, which are clearly aimed at children. focused. However, I'm not sure how well the galaxy section will hold up to normal use, but only time will tell. br>br>Overall, the construction is excellent. It has some weight to it, giving it a substantial and high-quality feel. The buttons are crisp and responsive, just like the rest of the 3DS line, and far superior to the 2DS models. My unit's hinge was satisfyingly tight, and the screen does not wobble in any way. However, I'm not sure if this is the case with all New 3DS XLs. The 3DS's plastic is of exceptional quality, and it does not flex or creak when in use. Both of my 2DS consoles had flimsy plastic that creaked a lot when you handled them. The circle is the only flaw I see with this system. A gamepad simply cannot compete with a true joystick. Mine can get a little gritty at times, so I'll add some WD-40 to it. I'm going to try number 40 to see if I can get it to smooth out. br>br>As expected, the screens are much nicer than the 2DS screens. I don't use the 3D feature very often, but it's nice to have it. It's interesting to see how different games appear in 3D, but I don't think it's a requirement. br>br> In comparison to both the 2DS and 2DS XL, the sound quality on the 3DS XL is incredible. The mono speaker on the 2DS always sounds bad. Although the 2DS XL is superior to the 3DS XL, it still falls short. The sound quality issues with the other handhelds drove me insane. br>br>I did notice that the 2DS XL was slightly faster at booting up games, but both systems blow the regular 2DS out of the water. So, in comparison to what I'm used to, the 3DS XL is still lightning fast. Unlike the 2DS XL, the 3DS XL has a stylus that can be used, though both styluses are placed on the front of the handheld, which is inconvenient. The stylus should be on the right side, under your hand, in my opinion. br>br>Battery life appears to be comparable to every other Nintendo handheld I've used. There are no complaints, but there is always room for improvement. The lack of an included AC adapter is an obvious major flaw in this model. This shouldn't be allowed at all, and it made it difficult for me to buy one just on principle. br>br>In terms of ergonomics, the 3DS XL is far more comfortable than either of the 2DS consoles. The regular 2DS was simply unwieldy to hold. The buttons were oddly spaced and the bottom corners jutted into my palms. The 2DS XL was better, but I found the buttons to be much more cramped together due to the console's overall smaller profile. They also put the c- in a different place. The ABXY buttons were also moved down as a result of the stick being moved down. Finding a comfortable hand position on the console was difficult as a result of this. The 3DS XL is ideal for my larger hands, with all of the controls placed precisely where they should be. br>br>Conclusion: br>br> This is, without a doubt, the best Nintendo handheld ever created. It's a well-known fact. Built like a tank, this console has one of the most appealing exterior designs I've ever seen on a gaming console. The controls are responsive and crisp, and the overall size makes it easy to hold in a variety of hand positions. On my 3DS, I was relieved to discover that the hinge was secure and that there was no screen flop. br>br>This is a far superior handheld to the standard 2DS, which makes sense given that they are attempting to accomplish two completely different tasks. The standard 2DS is a low-cost way to play games from the DS and 3DS libraries. The 3DS XL is the best way to get the most out of these games, and it's also a lot of fun to use. When compared to the 2DS XL, there doesn't appear to be a compelling reason to go with the 2DS XL. The price difference is only $25 (at least on Amazon), and the 3DS XL is so much better than the 2DS XL that I can't recommend anyone buy it. The 2DS XL, in my opinion, should cost between $100 and $150. $125 would be a great deal (especially if it came with a game). When comparing the 3DS XL to the 2DS XL, the 3DS XL simply feels better. I'm so glad I returned the 2DS XL and replaced it with the 3DS XL; it's a world of difference.

FUN! It was well worth the money
5/5

For many years, I had relied on my DS Lite. I have a lot of those games, and I'm glad I can still play them on my 3DS! I was satisfied with that, but I wished for a larger display. I'm also interested in 3D gaming because I have a 3D television. 3D television is fun to watch. This thing's 3D is spectacular! Apart from those two things, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I adore the ability to download classic music. there are new games on this I bought a bunch of my favorite retro games and stored them on the built-in micro SD card. a couple of more recent additions For them, I don't require carts! This isn't a new concept, but it is for me. Add in the 3D games that take advantage of the dual cameras, the 3D picture/video function, the Mii functions, and Netflix, and you've got a pretty impressive package. This Hulu capability is simply incredible. I went from playing once in a while to playing every day. Every day, I'm playing with my 3DS! It was even used by my wife, who is not a fan of video games. I thought it was fantastic. I think I'll have to get her one. Also included are the children. So, if you're a gamer from back in the day like me, If you have a Nintendo DS or Wii (or any other system from the 1980s or 1990s), go for it! It was well worth my money, in my opinion. One thing to note is that I had to purchase a separate power adapter. What the hell is going on with that Nintendo? It is illogical.
