Nintendo should include more non-traditional games in its lineup
5/5

Models that are extra large. Finally, a new Nintendo 3DS that fits in your pocket. Because Nintendo appears to have forgotten that many people intend to carry their 3DS without a carrying bag, parachute pants, cargo pants/shorts, ehh you get the picture, the XL requires giant pockets or nothing will fit. except in this case. br>br>Really, I have no idea why they don't sell these more easily; the smaller 3DS is much better than the XL; the fact that it has a smaller screen also helps pixel density; and, finally, after owning a New 3DS XL, I can confirm that the games do look better on the smaller screen, because the games appear more blurred on the larger one due to less pixel density. Did I mention that this one is pocket-friendly? Because yes, it does, and that is probably one of my favorite things about it; aside from that, the faceplates are awesome, and it is the only White 3DS you can buy in the US, because for some reason Nintendo prefers to keep the white consoles exclusive to Japan or Europe, and the 3DS' region locks (still hoping for a change) don't help matters. So you'd like one? br>br> If you're stuck with an original 3DS and want something that fits in your pocket, has better performance, face plates, and a c-stick, this is the game for you. If you have a XL 3DS and want something smaller, you can use a stick (actually a nub or something). Then you should probably try to locate one of these, as even the most recent 2DS XL is in good condition. It's currently only available in XL, and it won't fit in your pocket. Also, good luck trying to cram an entire Switch into your pockets (the joycons will fit, but not the Switch).

We love these new 3ds models, and this is a great Black Friday deal
4/5

I really like the new design, and being able to locate the new small version was fantastic. I just wish two more items I ordered during Black Friday hadn't been canceled by Amazon. I placed four orders: one for myself, one for my son, and two for my nephews. At the very least, my son and I each received two. I'm not sure why Nintendo isn't producing these again; they're gorgeous, and I'm sure they'd sell even if they weren't $99 to begin with. Perhaps they'll bring them back on their own volition.

A fantastic price for an excellent system - if you were lucky enough to get your hands on one I was fortunate enough to get one of each color before Thanksgiving, and while Amazon's launch was not without flaws, it made for a wonderful Christmas morning for my family
5/5

It's smaller than the XL, which I dropped, but the smaller screen hasn't bothered me at all, and the white and black plates look fantastic, understated enough not to stand out but packed with great Super Mario characters upon closer inspection (though I prefer the black one). The stylus is small, and unscrewing the back plate to insert a suitable MicroSD card is a pain, but once it's up and running, everything works flawlessly. The fact that some games run and load faster is a nice bonus. The Streetpass Mii Plaza games have become the most noticeable difference among the games I own, as they now run buttery smooth.

Texture is nice
5/5

I don't miss my XL's larger screen while playing this, despite the fact that it's obviously much smaller. This console is one of my favorites. This size feels good as well, and it's easier to carry around. I have large hands, so it's not much different than playing on an XL, though my hands do cramp up after a while, and I prefer the texture to the New XL. In comparison to using the New 3DS XL model, it feels good even if my palms get sweaty. Despite the fact that my New 3DS XL feels enormous in comparison, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything when I play on the smaller version.

The unit is small and simple to operate
5/5

The device is small, portable, and simple to use. I showed it to my nieces and nephews, who are between the ages of four and eight. It was a hit with the kids, who rated it a 9 out of 10. It has a great battery life; it can handle hours of gaming and will still have battery after a few days of inactivity. Then there are the three. D is really cool; it takes a little getting used to, but after a few uses with it on your eyes, you'll be able to relax and enjoy it. I'd recommend this product to anyone over the age of 5, as the controls are likely to be a little too complicated for most games. Nintendo also creates games that are enjoyable for the entire family.

It's my favorite 3DS if you can get it for less than $100
5/5

I'm sure a lot of people are upset that Nintendo didn't ship enough of these. That, too, I believe is foolish. However, as far as a New 3DS is concerned, this white system is one of my favorites. In person, it looks even better than it does on the cover. The design appeared to be drawn in a slightly darker shade of grey on the cover, so I assumed it was. However, it is etched or embossed into the cover! It's a nice touch that the buttons are the only color and that the colors are based on the European/Japanese SNES colors. It's the cheapest 3DS I've ever purchased, and it also happens to be the most attractive! It is faster than the regular 3DS because it is a New 3DS. Some games benefit from it, while others do not- Even the menus, however, are quicker! The New 3DS has a number of additional advantages. It has face tracking, so the 3D feature isn't lost as quickly. On the right side, there's an extra joystick nib, and you can change the faceplates, but I'm not going to do that. The screens are approximately 2017% inches larger than the old 3DS but with the same resolution as the old 3DS but with the same resolution as the old% (Many thanks to KriegsMrn for bringing this to my attention! )br>br>The rest is identical to the original 3DS. All of your old 3DS and DS games will work on it. Xenoblade Chronicles is the only game exclusive to the New 3DS. Many 3DS games benefit from the new 3DS's higher framerates. And there is one game, Hyrule Warriors, that I believe should have been a New 3DS exclusive due to its poor performance on a standard 3DS/2DS. It does not come with a power adapter, but it uses the same power adapter as the original 3DS. The official Nintendo ones cost $15, but there are a variety of other brands available. Because I already have a multi-device charger, I purchased some USB to 3DS cords, which solved my charging problem. In my car and at my bedside, I keep a USB charger. br>br>Overall, the new 3DS is a nice addition to the original 3DS, but it isn't a must-have upgrade. However, if you can get it for less than $100, it's a great deal! I wish they would reduce the cost of all New 3DS systems to $100. Regardless of improvements, I believe it would sell much better and make more sense given the age of the hardware line.
