Great system with a nice feel and a cute design! I've had a few 3DSs and 3DS XLs over the years
5/5

This is my first 2DS, and it has quickly become my favorite. I was impressed with the feel and matte finish from the moment I took it out of the box. It's not as heavy as my previous 3DS XLs. I've included a couple of photos to show how the new Pikachu 3DS compares to the old Pikachu 3DS from a few years ago. To be clear, in the photos, the 2DS XL on the right is the one we're talking about. br>br>Just keep in mind that Pikachu's nose protrudes a little from the system on this 2DS, causing a small bump. If you only have a small/form-fitting case for other 2DS/3DSs, you'll need to find something with enough room for the bump. However, given the abundance of cases available, this isn't particularly difficult to come by. br>br>My only real gripe is this:
1. The stylus that comes with it is a teeny-tiny thing. Personally, I prefer to use a Nintendo stylus that is a little longer. But, in case you're wondering, the stylus for this is quite small, which is fine for children but not so much for adults.

5/5

This item is crucial, and it's fantastic! I really mean it when I say that this Pikachu 2ds XL is amazing. Since 1995, I've been a die-hard Pokemon fan. This is the Pikachu N64 handheld version. I was blown away when I first saw this because I adore Pikachu. His brows are furrowed, and his cheeks are jutting out. Pro's- Because you don't want to ruin this item or the box, I recommend it for adults and collectors. Con's- Kids can easily damage the 3ds or 2ds xls, so I strongly suggest the less expensive handheld non-game console for them. The 2ds has been flipped. If I had been able to afford it, I would have purchased the new version. God bless Amazon for the low price, as well as Nintendo and Pokemon for putting this together. You have my undying affection. If you get this, I also recommend getting a phanie belt holster or phanie pack because it's convenient and moms and dads can carry their phones, games, and charger in it. As an example, I've included a photo!.

The best of both worlds: convenience and enjoyment
5/5

I wasn't expecting a fancy-looking 2DS XL, but the Pikachu face is actually quite nice. The device's ease of use and weight are ideal because I can carry it around with me and use it when I'm just sitting around (such as in a waiting room or in a car while someone else drives). When the phone isn't charging, the battery lasts a long time, with only a few minutes of play time. There are a lot of games to choose from, but I prefer to stick to games I've played before or games that have a connection to something I know, but the 2DS XL makes it fun to play all around. I'm not bothered by the stylus's size; after all, how big does it have to be? When I'm not using it, but think I might need it later, it fits perfectly in my hand while I'm playing. I like the pedometer feature, but I haven't looked into much else the device has to offer, so there's still something I can do with it if I get bored with games. The ability to use Netflix and Hulu is a highlight of this device, which adds to its convenience. I haven't had a chance to watch anything yet, but it's nice to have another option. the- go with a device that has the ability.

Although our 2012 3DS XL is still in perfect working order, we couldn't pass up this collector's item
4/5

Although our 2012 3DS XL is still in perfect working order, we couldn't pass up this collector's item! We're both Pokemon fans who have completed every game in the series. As a result, the Pikachu edition is a no-brainer. Because the faceplate is 3D, it's even more adorable than the previous version. The only drawback is that you can't put it in a protective shell, but that wasn't a deal-breaker for me. We found it to be a deal breaker. br>br>However, as adorable as it is, I have the impression that the 2DS's build quality is inferior to that of our older 3DS XL model. For one thing, the material appears to be worse, despite the fact that it is lighter. The lid does not close all the way - Because the buttons are slightly taller than the width of the lid, there is a sliver of a gap. The stylus is also extremely small - it's about the size of a speck of dust. I'm always losing my cool. If you have large hands, using your finger may be preferable. The menu appears to be a little more user-friendly this time around. Although the home page is more user-friendly, the overall appearance is similar. Instead of pressing an upward or downward button to turn the WiFi on or off (which I despised), you now use the menu button. It's very simple to determine whether or not your WiFi is turned on. br>br>I think the battery situation has deteriorated. When your WiFi is turned on and the game is running but the lid is closed, the battery drains faster than it does on my 3DS XL. Aside from that, it's been an excellent system. Obviously, the ability to use Amiibo is the real highlight. Because we both play Animal Crossing, being able to scan Amiibo and cards directly on the touchscreen is extremely useful. br>br>I strongly suggest this product; even if you don't require one, you simply cannot pass up this collector's item!.
