It has plenty of room for my 2DS XL, as well as my games and charging cable.
It must be capable of doing so. This case is designed for the New 2DS Xl, which is smaller than the original DS lite.
We received them in December 2018 and I don't recall smelling anything.
It's a little tight for the new 2ds xl, but I believe the 3ds xl is about the same size. You could look up the dimensions for both and compare them.

I purchased this case after purchasing a New 2DS XL so that I could have a nice, portable storage space for my system, charger, and plethora of 3DS and DS games. The case feels durable and is actually smaller than I anticipated (though this is not a bad thing; I believe its size is one of its strong points). A large stylus resembling a mechanical pencil was also included in this case. Unfortunately, the little rubber bit inside the tip of the stylus broke, so I won't be using it with my system anytime soon and may have to discard it. In addition, the color is unusual. Why use a purple stylus with a turquoise stylus? What about a case with a theme? My only other gripe is that the cartridge pouches are a little tight. I've had other 3DS cases where my cartridges fit snugly and I've never had a problem, but the ones in this case are too tight, and when all of the pouches are filled, the different layers that are bound to the spine of the case move awkwardly. When I close the case, I have the uneasy feeling that some of the pouches, especially those closer to the spine, are squished. This is particularly concerning when my charger is stored in its pouch. The pouch in which the 2DS is kept is in good condition. I like it a lot more than some of my other 3DS cases. However, I would be hesitant to purchase from this company again.
Fashionable I purchased the purple accented case to match my purple 2DS XL, and it is exactly what I needed. It comes in a textured hard shell case that is both stylish and durable. In this small carrying case, I can fit my DS, DS charger, 24 games, and a stylus. It's ideal for travel! I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
For their 2DS Lites, both of my kids have these cases in different colors, and they're perfect. The case is very sturdy, so even if they drop it a long distance, the DS inside will be protected. It not only has plenty of slots for games, but it also has a zipper section where they can store extra styluses and the charger. I adore them so much that I bought a case for my 2DS XL, which the description claims to support, but my DS barely fits inside and is difficult to remove.
It came with a New 2DS XL, which I was happy to receive. With the hard exterior, it feels very sturdy, which gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing that I can throw the whole thing into any bag or backpack without worrying about it getting crushed. I was able to fit the DS, charger, and extra stylus that came with it (which is great because the one that came with the DS is so small!). ) and a total of ten games with ease. I haven't yet filled all of the small game slots, but I won't be concerned about running out of room when I do. It even had the same color as the rest of the outfit: ) It's a must-try!.
This is the case I bought for my Nintendo 2D XL. It's a small place. I figured I could fit a wall charger and a car charger in there, but it's a tight fit. My 6-year-old has a CASEIT case that holds a lot more. I'm going to return it and replace it with the one I purchased for my son. This case is in perfect condition; it simply does not accommodate what I require. If all you're storing is a charger and a few games. If that's the case, you've come to the right place. Because of the lack of accessory capacity, I'm only giving it four stars.
For my daughter's 2ds xl, I really like this case. We ordered the black with purple zipper to match her purple system, and she loves it. The shell is tough and feels solid. There are numerous game storage slots, a back zipper for storing a stylus charger, and, of course, the DS fits perfectly into its holding pocket, even with the clear protector case around it. It also has a nice carrying handle. Overall, I believe that this case will perform admirably.
Perfect for my 3DS XL (old). I'm a huge fan of this case! I recently purchased this case as well as a similar Switch Lite case, and I am completely in love with them. Not only are the colors beautiful, but the material feels sturdy and high-quality, and there's plenty of room for all of my games and styluses, plus some! br>br>I know it says it's for the New 2DS XL, but I figured the dimensions of the new 2DS XL and the old 3DS XL were close enough that my 3DS XL would fit, and it does. The fit is a little snug, but not too tight, according to some reviewers. br>br>Overall, I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone!.
I bought two of these cases, the first of which worked perfectly and had no issues, and the second of which is a good product but smells. It stinks, to say the least. We smelled something in my daughter's room and couldn't figure out what it was until we realized what it was. We got rid of it, and the odor went away. I tried Febreze but it didn't work, so I put it in the washing machine and it's still stinking. I'm not sure what happened with one good and one bad, but you should be on the lookout.
