No, it doesn't come with a carrying case, but the handle serves as a brush cleaner and protector. Take a look at the video I made to demonstrate these functions.
Place the gel container on the turntable (after removing the cap that covers the gel) and allow the head/stylus to fall onto the gel. Any fluff, dust, or other debris on the stylus will adhere to the gel. Raise the head/stylus, take out the gel, and start playing the next disc.
The brush, in my opinion, has an infinite cleaning capacity. I use the brush every time I play, and it still looks brand new. If properly cared for, the little stylus dip appears to be a long-lasting item.
It is packaged in plain cardboard with clear plastic covering the contents. There is nothing special about this. It appears to be something you'd get off a display shelf. It was given to me as a Christmas present.

This brush must be handled with care. It's a difficult situation. The brush made a horrifying noise the first time I used it. So I took out an old LP that I no longer listen to and ran the brush across it. It left a scuff mark that could be seen. I did use some pressure, but it wasn't a lot. I wondered how much damage repeated use would cause to the record grooves if a single use with a little light pressure could leave a scuff on the LP. I didn't want to put myself in jeopardy. Some older LPs are nearly impossible to replace, and I have a number of them that are more than 40 years old but still sound great. I'd like to keep them like that. This cleaner was simply not worth the risk for me. I'll look for record brushes elsewhere because they're not cheap.
To be honest, this brush is more harmful than beneficial. If you don't want to scratch your vinyl, you must hold it very gently. It also has a bad habit of leaving hundreds of hairs in the grooves of the vinyl record, which are extremely difficult to remove because the hair falls right into the groove as the brush follows the grooves. I have to brush against the grain of the grooves in order to get them out, which is not advised. It also collects dust and debris, which is difficult to remove from the brush. It's still on there even if you used to handle it, and I usually end up making the vinyl dirtier by rubbing the brush against it. Overall, it is not worth the money or the trouble. You should probably use a make-up brush instead. (Wow, I'm sorry for my original review's typos. ).
I thought the brush was doing a good job at first. When I examined the records more closely, I noticed that it was leaving bristles behind. There are a lot of them. Bristles that have been completely broken and bristles that have been completely broken. They're small and difficult to notice, especially when they get stuck in the grooves of a record. I thoroughly cleaned the brush, but it had no effect. I went back and looked at the dozen or so records I'd used it on, and they'd all got tiny pieces of bristle stuck in the grooves and on the record. Once on the records, getting the bristles off is a pain. Unless you look closely and in good light, they are difficult to see. I'm not sure if this is typical of a carbon fiber brush, but I'm not going to put up with it every time I clean a record, so I'm returning it for a refund. Aside from the bristle issue, the sharp edges and corners are a recipe for disaster.
The gel cleans the needle very well, so it's a well-built product. The brush, on the other hand, is not "anti-" Don't be fooled by the marketing technique "static. " It cleans surfaces effectively and removes small particles such as dust and hair. Fingerprints won't be removed, and it won't get into the vinyl's crevices. Static will not be removed (no brush, regardless of brand, is truly anti-static). It won't completely eliminate crackles and pops, but it will help to some extent.
However, I'm not overly pleased with it. It appears that it is leaving behind very fine fibers on the records. When I tried to brush them off the platter, I noticed a streak of them. Furthermore, it does not appear to remove static from records as it claims. Because the record may pick up static during play, I'm not docking any stars for this section. However, there are some advantages. This brush does remove dust, and if you turn the bristles in the direction of spin and really let them dig in, they'll get the deep-cleaning job done. dust from the grooves was seeded It isn't bad in general. I'm just not fond of the residue it leaves behind.
So it's a carbon bristle brush and stylus gel pack for a very low price, and I'm curious to see if it's a good buy. When I compared it to my trusted Boundless carbon bristle brush, I noticed that the eveo bristles are different, which I don't understand because they are both carbon. I wiped it against a paper record sleeve to see if it shed any bristles, and sure enough, a few small bristles came off, as shown in the photo. I don't think it'll scratch, but those tiny bristles might get stuck in the grooves, as some other reviews have suggested. I'd suggest testing it out on a non-record surface first to see if any shedding occurs. The stylus gel appears to work; however, because it is concave, there is no contact unless you angle the gel just right when dropping the stylus on it. Other reviews claim the stylus was damaged or gooped up, but I haven't noticed that since my first use. It claims to be reusable and can be renewed with soapy water. In comparison to the other review images, my stylus was spotless, so who knows. YMMV.
The brush, on the other hand, was underwhelming; it was very thin and did a poor job of cleaning my vinyl. Also included is a stylus cleaner. WARNING! This product, I believe, left residue on my stylus, causing it to become ruined. I had to replace it because I couldn't seem to get rid of the gunk that had accumulated on my stylus after "cleaning" it with this gel. Not to be recommended!.
I was hesitant to purchase this brush because many people claimed it left bristles behind. I was fortunate in that I did not have that problem, at least not at the time. I was overjoyed to receive this kit because I had noticed dust on a few of my albums, and I tested it out on a few of them and it worked perfectly. I had no idea how filthy they could get, but they were certainly dusty. This improved the clarity and clarity of my albums. The needle cleaner is also excellent; however, after cleaning the needle, I noticed a significant amount of dust in the gel. I'd suggest it.
