This is the first time I've ever smelled this product. I use it every day. This is the most effective cleaning solution I've ever used for hand-cleaning vinyl.
There is alcohol in this product! NOT FOR LACQUER OR ACETATE RECORDS! Look for a product that says it can be used on lacquer or acetate records.
It's a secret recipe. Alcohol and possibly a mild detergent are found in this product. It's something I use frequently, and I'm happy with it.

There are a lot of record cleaning liquids out there, but I really like this one because it dries quickly and doesn't leave any weird plastic residue. And I know they say alcohol is bad for records, but you're not putting that much on here, and you're not going to ruin your record's grooves with this tiny bit of alcohol. . . I like it a lot.
It's total nonsense. All it does is make your records sound noisier than if you hadn't done anything. This is the third MoFi cleaning product I've tried (the other two are their cleaning pad and stylus cleaner), and they've all been useless, overpriced garbage. br>I enjoy their vinyl pressings, but I stay away from everything else.
This isn't something you should buy. I believe it is simply vinegar in water. A wet disc washer is what you'll need to clean your records. SpinClean, Record Pro, or something similar. I understand it's more expensive, but you'll have it for a long time.
I'm not sure if it's the best, but it seems to be working for me right now. Plus, you can't beat the volume of liquid for the price. I bought the Stanton cleaning fluid, which works just as well as this, if not better, but it's a lot more expensive, they don't offer refills, and you only get a few ounces for your money, which is a fraction of what you get with the Mobile Fidelity - There is Only One Record Cleaning Solution. br>br>It's something I'd recommend.
It's not even close to being worth $30 per bottle. That is absolutely insane.
I've always been wary of records that clean themselves up quickly. I'm aware that LP cleaning machines do an excellent job of cleaning records, but I've never had luck wet cleaning records with brushes (e. g. , with a toothbrush). Brushes for the discwasher Despite the fact that I use a dry one before each performance). Wet cleaning a record with brushes always seemed to leave more muck on my LPs and made them sound worse. However, given MFSL's track record with excellent vinyl, I decided to give this cleaner a shot. I was curious if there was such a thing as an all-in-one solution. The "D-" cleaner from MFSL is one option. Replacement for the 4" (DiscWasher) that should have been developed three decades ago. I'm pleased to report that this is a fantastic cleaning solution! It does exactly what it says on the tin and doesn't leave any residue on the records! The cleaning secret, on the other hand, is to use a lot of solution. Wet the record as evenly as possible, almost a wide puddle, and let it sit for three minutes before removing the fluid; you'll notice a significant improvement. My success came as a complete surprise to me. As I previously stated, this is the first brush-up. I used the best cleaner I've ever used, and it didn't leave any more gunk on the LPs. My method is as follows: There are three old Discwasher brushes in my possession. I use one to lay down a thick layer of fluid (no, I'm not sopping the record wildly while it's on my platter). One is to get rid of the majority of the liquid. After a brief moment of self-reflection, After it had dried, I applied a final "polish" with the third brush. This system is extremely effective and restores the luster of the records. This product gets a 9 out of 10 for delivering on its promises. If you don't have the funds for a record cleaning machine or the patience to hand wash and dry your records, you can use a towel and a rack to dry them. This is the solution to your problems! Thank you so much, Mobile Fidelity!.
I've used this product on my entire 2300 record collection, and it's without a doubt the best cleaner on the planet. Here's how I see it: I don't buy junk records, so IMO, just like my truck, I can hand clean better than ANY car wash, and I feel the same way about my records. One of the most important things to remember when using this cleaner is to wait for it to dry, then wipe clean with a clean lint free micro fiber cloth.
Cleaning vinyl with MoFi One is a cost-effective option.
