Questions & Answers

What is the best way to increase the speed of a Sony Handycam's transfer? The playback of my clip takes the same amount of time as the playback of the previous clip. ?

The transfer of one hour and ten minutes of tape to a DVD recorder will consume one hour and ten minutes plus initializing and finalizing. The speed at which a tape can be copied is high on audio tapes, but not on video tapes. When factories copied motion pictures to consumer VHS tapes, they did it in "real time." But in those ancient days, it wasn't the case.

The hum on mine is quite loud when it is used. Are you the only one who has this problem? Since I transcribe depositions in conference rooms, this is not good since I often re-code in them. ?

This is amazing! Please accept my apology for the strange noise your Sony recorder has been making. As far as I can tell, I haven't had that problem with

There is an AVCD on it. My goal is to turn these videos into mp4 files so that I can put the DVD into a duplicator and immediately make a copy. Are you asking if it only does AVCHD?

I noticed that this unit has the following information on its packaging It does NOT support MP4 multimedia file formats (shot with Sony Bloggie, Cyber-shot AVCHD is not necessary for shooting, etc. ). Thanks for your question. I hope that answers it. If you want more detailed technical information, you should visit Sony's website.

Does the unit get its data from a SD card and record it onto a DVD disk?

It has the capability to record on the dvd-rom with a sd card It is also possible to record from a DVD player or a VHS recorder for copying home movies and movies to this unit. Take pictures with my camera, then remove the SD card from the camera and put it in my DVD burner so I can burn my pictures to disk.

The non-profit sector It was figured out by the techie and he is happy
5/5

It was a necessity to convert my large VHS library of teaching materials to DVD format. I am a teacher and not terribly tech-savvy, but I am very pleased with this product. I am delighted with the quality of this product. In addition to a few points I noticed in the reviews I read, there are a few others I would add. It may seem obvious to someone without technical experience, but some are so essential they may not need to be mentioned. The first thing you'll need is a VCR if you plan to convert VHS tapes. Because I don't have one, I thought (since I didn't recognize the scale of the product photo) that tapes would fit inside this machine. The good news is that you only need a VCR and three cables. To play a tape into a converter, you place it in the device. There is a small screen on the converter that shows exactly where it is reading from the tape. feature is that you can "edit" out unwanted parts of your VHS tapes. (In my case, I did not want to keep the commercials embedded in the video. ) If you want to skip those parts, just hit the pause button. One thing mentioned in previous reviews that I would like to reiterate is that the recording quality setting should be changed It gives you a bit more than 2 hours of video on each disc instead of just a little more than 1 hour and 20 The last item you need to buy is a DVD CDs and DVDs in R format. While trying to figure out what the difference between DVD+R and DVD-R was, I spent a good amount of time It is one of the best products on the market and there are few like it!.

This has been a very satisfying experience for me

Getting a real understanding of what you are purchasing is important. A very good DVD burner for old digital camcorders, VHS tapes, 8mm tapes is this machine. It can copy old tapes onto DVDs. There is no possibility of creating high-quality images with this machine The quality of old tapes is excellent. The videos are extremely satisfying to me, as I wanted to see the people in VHS and 8mm videos before they How about drawbacks? In addition, it cannot tape/dub at high speeds There is no recording at real-time, only at speed The recorder cannot edit but it can pause if you know exactly the parts of your video tape to go over. It can also record from VHS or 8mm tape. It's hard for me to recall the contents of my tapes. When you have a high SAT or ACT score If you are a tech editor, you probably won't enjoy this machine. I simply connect the three RCA cables from the VHS or 8mm machine to this DVD burner, play the tape on the player, and record it. Then I leave the computer to make sure it's working properly, then I check the window for any problems During the recording process, the recording will last for 2 hours. Using a 2 instead of a 3 1 DVD with a wedding video of one hour. . . *B. It appears Sony has emerged from the recession with a renewed confidence in the market since I bought my unit in January 2012. There are five ways to connect to this recorder, but I did not list them all In addition to analog audio/video (3xRCA inputs), a digital jack and a USB port are the three choices for "cable input. " There are two "memory cards" inputs, Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick SD/xD. I'll try to post a picture of the back of the box, the limitations are really interesting!.

It has a very intuitive interface It is easy to create DVDs due to its compact size

In my experience, the DVDirect is a perfect match for me. I bought it to use on my 16-seater In order to create a back up of my video and photos on my 14-day European vacation, I needed a method. As an added benefit, my video was already on DVDs, so I could start watching it right away after returning 2) The DVDirect is lightweight & easy to use It was compact, which made it easy for me to fit it into Having read how to connect my video camera to the DVDirect (which is not difficult), the machine walked me through the remaining steps, which are also a few and easy to follow. The backup feature worked well for my video needs, since my video camera has 80GB of memory space, however, I wanted to have a backup of the recordings I made every day in case my camera was lost or stolen. some or all of their vacation video or still photos for one of these 1) The DVDirect has the option to burn only data that has never been As a result, I did an "incremental" burn from my camera to the DVDirect every day, so that only the new video would be Unless the disk was full, I wouldn't "finalize" it (which is an option you are given via a prompt when you select "eject") so I could add additional video In light of the fact that the DVDirect automatically tells you how many disks you need after choosing either a "full" or "incremental" transfer, it is easy to figure out how many disks you need. In the same way, you can burn photos to DVDs. The DVDirect uses a memory card slot to store your images. Simply place your card in the slot and follow the directions. This is hands down the most convenient and user-friendly platform I have ever seen I'm always impressed with this machine. You wouldn't have to worry about that unless the device.

Stunning! You're a GEM, my friend

I think this item generally gets good reviews since it does just what it is supposed to do. This allows me to use it in two different Using a VHS camera to transfer footage to DVDs and a mini DV camera to transfer footage to DVDs. I have transferred a total of 10 tapes using this device and it has performed flawlessly. Setting up your DVD properly before formatting it is okay as long as you follow the setup instructions properly. Would you be willing to share your SP VHS tape with me? Setup will automatically format a DVD to accept two hours of footage if you choose SP. If you are using RCA cables, make sure to choose video in. A disc. The VCR must be turned on before VHS tapes can be recorded, and the record button must be quickly pressed. Can you tell me how hard that is? It is still easier to use miniDV tapes with firewire. Recording starts when the unit first rewinds the tape, if necessary, and then begins recording when the record button is pressed. It was mentioned that interlacing can be used. As of now, I haven't noticed any interlacing artifacts on the mini DV tapes I have created. I have never been able to imagine how much easier this process is than what I had to do in the past. Make sure the video is captured. Create a DVD by encoding. You are the author of the Write the DVD to the DVD drive. It's a shame. In the process of visiting so many places to accomplish each step, you eventually move on to the easier activities and ends up there. Your position is back where it was. The little guy, however, I can leave it and forget about You can return Complete the CD, and then finalize it. Yes, before ejecting, the unit asks if you'd like to finalize. Basically, this means the disk can no longer be written to and is then ready to be used by a Cool stuff, just cool stuff. This is a strongly recommended product.
