My husband and I decided to buy a DVD player so that our son could watch movies while driving. He's ten months old and gets restless and upset from time to time. When my husband took the DVD player out of the box, I was blown away. The screen can be twisted and turned in a variety of ways. DVDs play perfectly on it. The remote is a dream to use. It included all of the accessory cords, as well as one for the car. Purple is a color that I find particularly appealing, which is why I chose it. The image quality is excellent and crystal clear. The volume is turned up to eleven. Everything is in working order, and the little one has had a great time with it in the car. All that's left is for us to get our hands on a copy of Baby Shark.
To be honest, when I bought this, I was hoping it would play all regions of DVDs because I have a few that aren't region 1 (U. S. ). I was holding my breath as I turned on this DVD player and inserted a region 2 DVD into it when I first got it. The DVD began playing after only 5 seconds of waiting; there were no instructions to follow, no special actions to take, just "Presto" and the DVD began playing. Without a doubt, this DVD player has exceeded my expectations. If you're in the same boat as me and have DVDs that aren't region 1, don't wait to get this player!.
The screen turns smoothly, the remote works from across the house, it accepts a variety of formats for digital movies stored on USB, the sound is crisp, the screen is larger and brighter than my previous model, and it has replaced my old TV DVD player with the AV connection. It's a must-have for anyone on the go or in need of a new DVD player, especially because it can play DVDs from any region. It's absolutely incredible.
And I wasn't holding my breath for anything spectacular. Purchased in preparation for a future trip. I didn't try it out right away, though. A HUGE blunder. They only gave you a 30-day return window, apparently! Who is the one who does it? It was difficult enough for me to work remotely, much less my tech-savvy 6-year-old. The dvd cover is only held in place by a tiny spring, so when that spring broke or rather came out, the DVDs refused to play. There is no need to keep your hands pressed together in order to be read. However, the player's outside top began to pop off at this point. How does even a low-cost item begin to fall apart after only a day or two of use? It would have been too late even if I had gotten on to try to return it after our trip. Because I bought it a month before the trip, I had plenty of time to prepare. On the seventeenth of August The deadline for returning it was September 17th. However, the trip was not until September 21st! And to think, I was hoping to use it for another trip at the end of the month. Make sure you don't throw your money away. Even Walmart offers a 60-day money-back guarantee. Returns are accepted for 90 days. I was expecting a lot more Amazon.
This DVD player worked flawlessly for almost two months before finally giving up the ghost today. I can no longer play any DVDs that I've inserted. I've tried a few DVDs, but they either give me a no disc found error or just spin around at a high speed. I liked the player when it was working, but a battery life of less than two months is unacceptable.
Reviewed with changes: We haven't used it much yet, but it's been fine so far; we were told that if we wrote a review, we'd get a car seat attachment, but it's been months and we haven't received one. The player would get a better rating if it came with an attachment, but it's difficult for toddlers to hold onto in the car while doing other things. Getting one with a car seat attachment is a good idea.
We used to have a minivan with a built-in media player, but when we moved to a new vehicle, we had to improvise, and while this isn't quite the same, it's a good substitute for the money. br>Our kids are old enough (7 and a half) to understand what's going on. 10) to operate it without difficulty; the outer shell appears flimsy at first, but it's held up well on several long road trips with them so far. We haven't had any major mishaps or setbacks (I'm sure they'll drop it at some point!). ), but it has slipped off the seat a few times and has had no effect on the functionality. The only aspect of the game that I would like to see improved is the sound quality. Unless they're wearing headphones, it's not quite loud enough for our kids to listen to in the car while driving on the highway. We had to purchase a headphone splitter so that they could both listen at the same time; the sound is fine as long as they are not using it in a moving vehicle. Overall, for the price (half of what we saw for other DVD players with similar functionality), this has been an excellent purchase.
To begin with, it creates a lot of noise - a lot - when the light is switched on as well as when you put an end to it As long as the disc is in place and the power is turned on, it will continue to spin. If you try to move it while it's playing, it'll skip and make even more noise, despite the fact that the sound quality is likely to be good. I'd be able to hear it if I were able to hear it. I had to connect it to my television and it would only work in black and white, so I had to plug in external speakers to hear it. and it had a grainy texture to it.
