None now.

How do I make this's 3D feature work with my television?

Your one-stop shop for region-free Blu-ray and DVD! It worked flawlessly from the moment it was installed (I waited a long time to write this review
5/5

) To play DVDs from other regions, no special settings are required. Blu-ray discs have three options for different regions, all of which are simple to set up (one button for each option). I've only tested with Blu Rays from the United Kingdom and Japan, and there have been no issues. Because it's a SONY, image quality isn't a concern. I didn't mind that it wasn't the most recent SONY model. It is not cheap, but it is a small price to pay for the ability to buy and watch Blu Ray/DVDs from any region. This book comes highly recommended.

It is neither time nor money well spent
3/5

The only positive aspect of this product is that it can play my 3D discs. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. It's made of flimsy materials that will break if dropped or hit in any way. br>The region control is a little strange. It says that to change regions, you must open the tray and press the color buttons. It will not change the region simply by inserting the disc, necessitating manual intervention, which is inconvenient. br>All of the apps are out of date, and I don't see how I can get newer versions. br>The only video streaming apps available are Netflix, Amazon, and Vudu. br>Like other reviews have stated, it will occasionally lock up and require unplugging and replugging to restart.

Blu-ray player for Problem Child I started a return on this item because it was initially nonfunctional, and I still have the option of returning it
3/5

They warn that it may take some time to start, but I gave it well over 5 minutes before concluding that it was a dud and that the HDMI cable that came with it worked far better. br>br>After attempting to juggle work and school, I gave it another shot over a week later. responsibilities to others, and It switched on, as expected. It plays my BluRays very well, and my DVDs well enough. br>br>The seller warns that "QuickPlay" should be turned off in Settings, but that was already the default. br>br>It plays my BluRays very well, and my DVDs well enough. br>br> However, it was unable to play the "back-up" track. So far, only one DVD has been released with "up" content. It claims to be able to play both mkv and avi files, but it does not, as far as I can tell. If the instructions state that it can only play certain files with a variety of caveats and exceptions (cryptically named with initials and acronyms), then it can't play them at all. To connect a BluRay player and watch one's video files, one shouldn't need to be a computer expert. Finally, the BluRay player, for some reason, turns on the TV as soon as the power is turned on. Not a problem, and it's not unusual for an HDMI cable to do so, but for some reason, it sets the TV to channel 4, which prevents me from getting my "source" option screen for any other player, computer, or other device; I then have to turn on something else and do some remote gymnastics to get it back to channel 3, which requires me to turn on something else and do some remote gymnastics to get it back to channel 3. I'll try to remember to do those gymnastics as soon as the BluRay player is turned off in the future so I don't get caught flat-footed. footed a little later br>br>In short, I'm dissatisfied with my purchase and wish I had instead purchased a Samsung. But doing anything else now seems like too much trouble.

Everything is available to be played
5/5

It's handled everything we've thrown at it thus far. (Actually, we placed them in the tray rather than throwing them. ) ) Even on our OLED TV, picture quality is excellent, and I can't tell the difference between this and my high-end television. end Oppo. The power light is small and difficult to see, especially through a glass cabinet door, but that is the only flaw I can find. There's no reason to take away any stars.

Nothing but pre-loaded apps, including Hulu
3/5

This isn't something you should buy. It claims to give you access to tens of thousands of apps, but there is no way to download any of them. You can only use the apps that come with it. I've asked for assistance before, but no one has ever responded. The remote must be aimed precisely or it will not function.

When playing DVDs, the audio stops working
3/5

When playing a DVD, this player crashes the audio, sometimes three or four times in one DVD, and I have to restart it. I attempted to return the player, but Amazon refused because it was past the 30-day return window for "Deals" when I installed it and discovered the problem. " As a result, they referred me to Sony Warranty, who refused to honor the warranty because it had been "used, refurbished, or returned. " As a result, I spent $216 on a "deal," which turned out to be a "bad deal. " Streaming, on the other hand, is possible.

This is a good purchase
5/5

This bluray all-area player does a fantastic job. It came with instructions on how to switch from one system to another, e. g. , U. S. A. to U. S. A. Films from the U. S. and from other countries. To my surprise, it switches to out-of-region DVDs automatically. So far, so good.
