Does the job, but the documentation is horribly inadequate! I just got mine, and swapping the region code on Blu-rays requires a lot of fiddling

There is no documentation at all on how to deal with region codes on DVDs! They also leave out instructions on how to upgrade the firmware! To be safe, I'm assuming that firmware upgrades will disable multiregion support and thus should be avoided. But it's worth mentioning.

It's a bit pricey, but I'm pleased with it so far. The "upscaling" works flawlessly and breathes new life into your DVD collection, allowing you to watch those rare DVDs that have yet to be released in Blu-ray. ray, but with an image that is very acceptable. It doesn't understand MKV, MP4, or even. Files in the format of AVI As a result, the USB port is useless when dealing with video files.

What a fantastic product!! I tried pressing 2 as instructed on the enclosed instruction sheet to change the region code so I could play a region B disc I bought, but the player did not respond
