Friends and family who saw the system in my home were impressed with the quality of the video and the night vision, so I bought several for them, and their families and friends, and so on, and since then I became a DVR technician As a builder, I do it for them and make some money doing so. As much as I would have liked to buy a DVR online, the installation was the main reason for not doing so. I don't have anyone to install them for me. Some do sell DVR systems here, but they are too expensive so I took a chance to buy my first DVR system a few months back when I looked at the price. This is not a big deal, as it can all be done yourself and you get all the help you need free from the seller 24 x 7. In the beginning, they helped me with every question and problem I had with my DVR. There are all the instructions on the CD that comes with the DVR. I have read every bad review of this DVR, and I am able to see why some people are making these mistakes. Apart from the defective parts, I think that the major problem is your own setup. I did it myself and know what to do. Then there were questions about the Night Vision of this camera model, which clearly states 100ft(30m) IR Night Vision, so it means the visibility would be a challenge if you have a very open terrain. The company sells DVRs with and without HDD, so you can use the HDD if you have a broken computer, otherwise you can use the one you already have. *If you prefer a larger HDD, you can buy one from Amazon. I ordered one from amazon and they didn't come with HDD screws, I got really upset and stressed, but Zosi offered them in the box since I bought one O&M device but not HDD. You can angle your cameras without any issues if you install the Zosi app on your phone and connect your DVR to the internet before you begin to angle them. You can watch everything live without any Tips* "Br>*" "Br> Install a "motion-detecting LED flood light" in the way the camera is recording during the night so that you can capture good quality video.
I still have to do that, I only tested it with led light, and there was no motion detection. I'm still looking for a good one for my yard. That's a total waste of time. In the course of my work, I install surveillance systems for a living, and one of my customers wanted something affordable for 2 of his stores, so this product seemed suitable. As long as all you're looking for is to record, feel free to It simply does not work if you need remote viewing. Due to the lack of an electronic signature and the inability to connect smart phones to active x controls, Microsoft does not support these products. My attempt at troubleshooting the issue dragged on for hours before I contacted customer support, and they got back to me eight hours later. It was an extremely unprofessional and childish act from the tech. That was hours of wasted time I was unable to bill.

I was satisfied with the ZOSI for about three days. Digital video recorder with hd 720p and 264 compression. I can set up even formatting my hard drive with little knowledge of computers, so put me in front of a broken down concrete pump and I'm going to be able to get it running in no time. But put me in front of my DVR to see what recorded I can It seems that my awesome not so awesome Zosi DVR now asks me for a username and password. Easy enough, I enter both and nothing happens. It just says that one of the username or password is incorrect. It has been all over the place, I've tried everything from online tutorials to the OK I got it working. I still haven't heard anything. I tried the help center, but it didn't work. No resetting button on the device, which I don't understand. Come on for a species that claims to be intelligent, we seem to be lacking. Zosi deserves a big thank you for their nonexistent customer service. Great service up until you hand over your money to them. At a price point of this kind, the unit does a great job recording. Despite not having a manual, the device is quite easy to operate. installed a 500GB drive in mine and have it set to I find that mode to be very useful. A few months later, I changed the setup since I had been using it for half a year. In my search for the password for my system, I discovered that I had lost it. After contacting Zosi Tech Support, a technician named Hedy was able to assist me in regaining access to the system and upgrading the DVR firmware. In addition to upgrading perfectly (and easily), I was able to reset my password. So, I am pleased with the purchase, especially for this price. In fact, I used to be an engineering manager for a surveillance company that designed multiplexer/DVRs like this, so I was able to see firsthand what an incredible price point it is to offer this kind of performance these days.

It works well and has excellent technical support and customer service. As compared to the old unit I replaced that required port forwarding and a static IP address, this unit was much easier to set up. I had trouble setting up remote viewing and email functionality on my MacBook due to problems setting up the remote viewing and email functions on this application. There are numerous "how to" videos on YouTube which explain many of the features as the instruction manual only covers a few of them at best. After contacting customer service, Coco was able to assist me. After sending in a few screen shots I was guided through the troubleshooting process and all steps needed to get the system up and running. As my representative was knowledgeable and professional, he was respectful of my lack of IT knowledge, and he was very patient with me and my repeated calls. The online customer service experience I had with it was without a doubt the best I've ever had. Based on the knowledge that they will stand behind their product, I would buy another unit from them.
