Upon looking at all 16 on the monitor, they showed up great, however upon relying on the app after 30 minutes, I could only get about half working well, I do not have a Ph. D. It was picked up to replace a very old dvd recorder temporarily. There is nothing really bad about the system, I supplement the old system with wifi and IP cameras and keep the DVR (because I don't want it to roam outside my firewall or dial in), and I won't use any of the manufacturer's Assuming that is the case, the problem with this system is that it only supports p2p, there are no RSTCP streams you can integrate with Blue Iris, use vlc to view the streams, or use homeassistant. With the app (desktop or phone, but I didn't use them or install them), they can access this DVR. They need to find the server that handles authentication over P2P. Except for the local network or my VPN into the local network, I do not want anything doing outbound or inbound. It was only with me for a short time of 3 to 4 months, but it served my purposes temporarily because my old DVR died and I needed something quick to tide me over. This has been replaced with a hybrid dvr that does both IP and BNC, and has a built-in web server so that I can use the old and new functions until I switch, and hopefully send the RTSP streams to Blue Iris and Home Assistant. My main method for recording motion is to record continuously and only analyze the results afterward so I really cannot comment on how well it works. I am not sure if I would recommend it as a whole, but for the price, it's a good choice. I found this DVR to be useful as long as you did not plan on using a phone or computer to access it remotely. A PC software download that would not run on two different systems could not be installed. A mobile app also stopped working after three All worked right out of the box with a different brand.

I enjoy how it does everything it's supposed to do, which comes at a reasonable cost, and I find that Slina's tech support is stellar. I was initially disappointed that I wasn't able to 'flip' the images from my existing cameras, but I have later discovered that it is a limitation of all current DVRs. It is possible to see very well at night with the Zosi cameras I found the set up to be rather easy, and the cameras themselves are better than the ones I had previously. That system was superior to the ZModo system I had been using (it just stopped working out of nowhere).

Even though I consider myself to be fairly technical when it comes to port forwarding and account setup, I'm not the best at it. There is no point in using this system. the customer service is terrible, and you must deal with Chinese techs operating in a different time zone, which I could not work with This app is a total waste of time and resources. I had an older Swann DVR die and didn't want to spend hundreds on a new one, so I researched and found this model. All in all, it's a good app. I am not able to use the PC interface, and the mobile app had a lot of video buffering when it was It is the same video that was produced by the Swann and Zosi cameras that I had The price of this is under $200, which makes it a good choice.

I would recommend this product to anyone who has lost 3 times in 4 years as a result of a Qsee model. My only complaint is it sometimes takes a few seconds to do so. It took 20 seconds for Qsee to load remote live remote viewing vs. 20 seconds for remote live remote viewing. However, everything else you've said is just FANTASTIC.
