If you wish to display full screens for each of the channels, it has a mirror function. BNC is not included in this program You will need an RCA adapter.
There is a power supply provided, however, it is for a regular In your car, you can just connect a 12 volt supply to it once the transformer is taken out. The screen was placed in the back of my van so I could see both my left and right rear view cameras at one time
Even though I don't record, I assume the display includes a time stamp, so you are able to see it if you choose to do so.
As I recall, it wasn't a good buy, and it's not one that I would recommend. After 1 week, it ceased to work for me

Okay, let me start off by saying that part of the reason I had a problem with the product was because I didn't read the description carefully. In doing so, let me say this won't work properly with Windows 7 and above. However, the difficulties you will encounter are not worth the hassle it takes to install and use To put it simply, I had to reconstruct a PC that I acquired years ago. Putting Windows XP on it made this thing work like a charm. However, I could have bought a DVR and called it a day instead of going through all that. I'm so sorry. For use on new OS, you shouldn't buy this product as it will not work correctly or at all. Windows XP is still an option if you have an older PC, but it's not often that you hear of people still using it. This product is outdated in its basic form.
Our video system in our church consists of four cameras, so I purchased this quad screen processor to monitor all four cameras at once. Had it not been for two flaws, I would have given it five stars. The computer has four inputs and three outputs, and the first two outputs (video out and monitor 2) don't give me any problems. The signal loss on the outputs is visible if I use the second and third outputs, or the three outputs combined. The picture appears dark and smeared. My experience with splitters has taught me that signal loss is the reason for this. I don't have to worry about this in my case, as I will not be using the third output (monitor 1). The second problem is the image shown on the right. There is a small amount of right edge and a large amount of left edge. The video looks off center on the recorded video if I align the camera based on the monitor. This does not seem to be the case on the left side of the screen, and some have complained that the BNC connectors are loose. With the unit I bought, I did not experience this. As well, the case is made from A product in this price range would be expected to be made of plastic. I would say that the device is well made overall.
It was delivered to me just now. As I read the reviews, I was somewhat skeptical, because you never know which will resonate with you. I had no problems with mine, though. It worked just fine out of the box, plugged in the 2 cams I needed it for and it's what I needed it for. It's disappointing to hear people complain about it's quality. Despite the low price, this unit offers good value - $80 units HD is an expensive option, so you need to spend some money. It was just a simple thing I needed to split two I have 4 cameras around my house so I can stay informed of what's going on in real time. It was quite easy for me to set the menu, date/time because I am fairly proficient in electronic devices. I'm grateful for receiving a unit that operates perfectly and does the job well. It is now only hoped that it will continue to work and will not succumb to aging! ****Edit for style A month and a half after that, the timecode on it expires. The seconds are flickering as I type this, skipping numbers back and forth as the seconds tick by. In its current state, it can be turned off and back on, and it will reset properly, but I have the same Otherwise, everything appears to be fine, but there is a timecode issue. If I encounter any further problems, I will add them to this discussion.
In a gym, I put up cameras so moms can watch their kids when they are there. So I was looking for a switcher like this. In comparison to what I had seen out there, these were an AMAZING price. This is a very nice feature except for 1 thing I wish you could do the split screen (2 camera pictures) with cameras 3 and 4. The only one that does that is 1 & It is still in the four screen mode all the time anyway, so I bought two because of the price, since I thought I was going to hook it up a bit
But I only need 1 (now I have one back-up) and it may have a problem I previously discussed in my review of the BNC connector . The connectors on the unit are loose the RCA connectors do not fit properly the connectors on the unit do not provide Regardless, other than that they are wonderful.
The network may only be used for this purpose. The fault lies with me for not reading the Initially, I thought this system and software could be used as a local 4CH DVR, but the software is only designed for IP use over a network. The trick is to use F8
at boot time EVERY time to disable real-time driver signing enforcement so you can use it in Win 7. The pain is worth it, though. In addition, I have only been able to get the 32-bit Let's hope that made things easier for someone.
I am pleased with it because it does It was a four-day event Using a single screen, I can show my four cameras in a split-screen layout. For those who are interested, there's more complicated software involved Zoom, motion detection, etc. ) are all needed for my case, but I am not interested in them. With the help of my TV, I have put up cameras to watch my dogs in the backyard (and one on our front porch to see if visitors are coming). As for this application, it worked perfectly, and I could not be more satisfied. Now that I've owned it for about 8 months, it's still working exactly as it did the day I bought it. In addition, a loud set of beeps will be heard if a camera goes down (for example, if a cord can be jostled, causing it to become loose). It is a really cool product that I highly recommend.
Although I wasn't expecting much, Size can fool you & no matter how good a site is, it can be just as bad as a scam As is the case in this instance, it did. A couple of things I liked about it were 1. It was very easy to setup and 2. I really liked the adapters that came with it. In the past, it was needed to support only four cameras now, it supports all 6 cameras. You have a lot of choice in your Viewing Patterns Zooming in and out of the picture is even possible with the remote control During the weekend, you can go out as you like. It is also best to use the Timed Automatic switching setting, which makes it easy to navigate between the cameras consecutively. In the future, I will buy more units with my budget. There's one thing I recommend, if you are handy with a soldering iron, you may want to check for loose connections inside, this will void your warranty, but for the price, I'm willing to take the risk.
Let's get started, you'll have to think a little bit. Are you interested in expanding after that. Would you like the ability to use your cell phone. Recording on a hard drive might be a good idea. This is the best unit I have ever had, based on my needs as a small unit. I found the price to be very reasonable. There is one know and now the time is ripe for expansion. A 12 channel system was installed in place of the 4 channel system I had installed. Although I do not consider it to be a waste, I admit you can always use it again. It's just a recommendation to consider your needs before buying something.
