In less than a year, I stopped working entirely. I would have preferred to pay a little more for a product that would last a little longer.

Until the talk button malfunctions, that is. This was ordered for my husband's work truck by me. It was well received by him and proved to be effective. For a couple of months, at the very least. After three months, I'd say it's time to call it a day. He told me that the button on his shirt had broken after 4 months and that I should order him another. As a result, I simply switched it. He's had the second one for about three months and just informed me today that the button on it had broken. We're not going to order any more.

About a year's worth of work This mic was great until it started half-keying in a few months ago

It wouldn't be enough for others to hear anything, but it would ensure that nothing came through on my end. To get it to work again, I had to smack it. It's quite annoying, and there are times when I'm driving and I can't hear what's being said to me. So it worked for about a year and now it's a complete waste of time.

1/23/2018 Update: After only 5 months of use, the ridiculously small spring that activates the talk button broke. Mic was great until it stopped working. Many of the people I work with have experienced the same problem within 4 to 6 months of purchase. Original review: br>br> br>It's of good quality, with a long cord and a clear sound, according to other drivers. I really like the design with the stars and stripes.

I liked everything about this mic, including the color and cord, but it stopped working after a little more than 6 months, so I had to dig out my 25-year-old astatic mic, which still works

The flag earns you extra points. It looks fantastic, feels fantastic, and performs admirably. The cable is, in my opinion, a little too long. Just use your imagination, and it'll add a nice touch to that old cobra you have lying around.
