My scanner only ran for 10 minutes after the second recharge on the first battery before the low battery warning came on, followed by another 10 minutes of complete failure. I discovered that the second battery had also failed. And this was with either the stand-alone charger or the scanner's on-board charger.
The original battery wouldn't stop charging a few weeks ago, so I bought this, and the radio has been working perfectly since then. For the money, it's a good deal.
Why not get this battery because it is the same one that came with the scanner?.
This battery is a great buy because it charges up quickly and lasts as long as the one that came with the SDS100 scanner. I will purchase it again if I need one.
Would not be able to maintain the charge.
It's effective for me.
This is for the large battery version of the SDS100.
Per charge, there is a decent amount of life left.
