I believe that once the CMR 10 detects motion, the lights will stay on continually and the time delay will begin over every time the PIR identifies motion.

Whenever you wish to override the sensor, you need to go to the switch before the sensor. If the switch is not turned to the on position, the sensor will not work (lights will not come on). Light switches are exactly like regular light switches. The light switch may be left on, but the sensor will shut off the lights when no one is around, so that the lights will not run when no one is around. A sensor has two black leads and one white lead, one black lead is connected to the incoming power, and the other one is connected to Taking the white path leads back to the panel (white is a neutral color). By connecting the black lead between the sensor and a switch, then connecting the switch to the lights, you can make your sensors work. As long as your light switch is not shut off, the sensors will shut off the lights if there is no one in the room. So this will result in the same result, as the light switch must be on for the lights to work.

While I did not buy this product because it is cheap and has capabilities that I will never use, I did so because the description sounded good and they reviewed it favorably. I have a 2-year-old The building measures 25' wide by 20' deep by 9' high at the base and has a 4' set of steps leading to the house in a section with a higher roof. Located in the center of the garage, I mounted it to a rafter. The light switch was attached in parallel with the power supply. According to the advertised coverage pattern, I understood why opening the interior door didn't trigger the motion sensor, so I removed one mounting screw and loosened another so that the sensor was tilted up for the interior door and down for the garage door. I really like it.

My return policy on Amazon does not allow me to return this item if it has exceeded 3 days If you can only return it for 30 days after purchase, what good is a 5 year warranty?
