As for turning on the IR thresholds while the light is on at night, that's what will be best. To do that, log into the camera and adjust the IR thresholds. In the case of a camera that is basically in day mode, adding this won't make any difference
If you installed these illuminators in the opposite direction, your neighbors would be able to see the cameras at night, the illuminators would affect the night vision of this camera.

Added an update Below, I point out that I find that the 90 degree spread is a little I end up with vignette patterns in my photos because the light is too "spotty". It would be possible to solve this issue by aiming the spot further out, but then I would As a positive, I have learned that mounting this light a few feet from the camera makes it more difficult to trigger a motion event due to small insects and water splashes. Droplets or fog. It was the first time I used it, and I am amazed at the difference. I just got mine today, and I haven't yet installed it in its final location, but what a While I do wish it spread the light better, I would still like that. There's just a little too much spot in it. As much as I dislike the 12v power converter, I also dislike how big it is. In addition to taking up a lot of space and blocking my second outlet, this power converter takes up a lot of space on my outdoor electrical box cover. A very long power cord is attached to the wall outlet. The extra wire in my case is not a benefit, and I need to figure out where to place it. I can see how the long cord would be useful in some situations, but not in mine. I am impressed by the enclosure. It feels less solid at the mount and the base. As I gain more experience, I will update this.
Wyze Camera users will find this to be a handy companion. Despite the distance between me and my Wyze Camera, I could not see anything in my backyard. I found the answer to my problem here.
As you can see, there are before and after photos. It came with all the necessary mounting hardware, and there was an option to mount it on Also, I got the extension cable for the power cable that was recommended. I was pleased with the performance of this product and the mounting hardware included. My recommendation for this IR floodlight is a resounding yes!.
The two pairs of these lights I ordered are now in my possession. My one of these failed during the winter and after contacting Amazon Customer Service, I was told that we would be able to come to an agreement where I could obtain a replacement, but that never Seeing that Tonton offers a direct Customer Service line, I will give it a whirl. Amazon is where I buy a lot of stuff. With something as simple as this, you'd think I'd be able to get some real assistance. There are Amazon alternatives around the world, according to what I understand. We might want to take a look at them.
I think these are very good- IR illuminators are made by the company. Two of these are currently in use at two installations, and their performance has been very satisfactory. Despite the relatively small size and depth of the illumination, they are very easy to position due to their mounting flexibility (which is much more flexible than most flat panel array mounting systems). It is mounted in two separate areas of a garage and is mounted up and down from a security camera (one faces across and one straight ahead), and it works well in providing a clear image of the garage and driveway from several hundred feet away. This overall is a very good set of illuminators for me.
When the sun starts to set and it gets darker, this is the only time the machines will work. These do absolutely NOTHING to help my cameras in low light conditions. There is no way I would recommend them! Any one see a pool around here? I posted a picture of my pool. The round table is 30 feet in diameter.
I added this to my night vision camera. It works great! It lights up our back yard as well and is waterproof. Easy installation.
I would recommend using two of these to augment IR lighting for cameras with limited capabilities, but other than that, they work well for cameras with limited capability. Therefore, I believe I made the right purchase when purchasing these Tonton IR Illumiators, and for that I am very satisfied with my purchase.
There is a lot more light now!.
