The sound quality of this unit is good for the size and price
5/5

I am very pleased with this purchase. A few weeks ago, I purchased this to replace an older iHome iPhone docking station and found that the sound quality is no worse than the older bigger During the shower, Alexa responds instantly without having to shout, even when the volume is at the highest level. There was very little adjustment time since the clock taken 3 seconds to set so it should not be an issue adjusting 2 times a year to reflect daylight savings time. The backup battery should maintain accuracy even when the power goes out.

It didn't work out as well as I had The Echo is currently on sale for $69
3/5

As of this writing, it is available for $69. The price of this item is $39, not $99 The difference between 99 and 19 is an echo dot. It was on the verge of being a no-brainer to buy this combo or another Echo. I assumed the sound would be good because the pictures made it seem much bigger than it actually is. However, this speaker does not sound as good as an Echo Dot by itself, and it's also not as good as $15 Bluetooth speakers. It's actually possible to get an Oontz Angle 3 for only $24 (at the time of writing) which will blow this one Check it at a glance if your partner is sleeping or if you want to check the time at a glance. As I indicated in the beginning, the Echo has deeper bass, greater volume and fills the room in comparison to this unit, whose sound is directional. You can settle for this clock if you absolutely must have one.

A mixed bag of emotions surrounds this item, but it's not all the fault of the speakers (updated)
4/5

What it says it will do, it does. that is all there is. The most frustrating part of my experience is Originally, I made this purchase to replace my old alarm clock, which I don't use anymore. With this speaker, I thought I could solve some of my problems using Alexa. There is a yes and a no. Neither the speaker nor the composer are to blame. The speaker was the sole reason for my rating of four stars. In an attempt to purchase a new Echo Dot Gen 2 for this product, they are no longer available, so I took one of my existing Echo Dots and used it, while I ordered a Gen III Dot in the old My issues with the speaker are as follows It is not necessary for time to advance automatically with the change of seasons. A) Alexa does not control the time displayed on the speakers. Time control buttons are situated at the bottom of the screen. It is necessary to flip over the unit and hold the Dot in place in order to change the time. It is important for the manufacturer to indicate in its advertising if it is the third generation. It is either capable of working with Echo Dots or not. A second set of controls is not available. The fifth point is 5) For item 4, there is no option to snooze. In accordance with the instructions, I installed the Dot into the speaker. This course is available in English only, not in any other language. Juggling is not hard, but it does take some effort. My first observation was a faint hum coming from the unit once it was up and running. When I examined the Dot more closely, I discovered that one of the connecting wires crossed over another. By twisting the Dot just a bit, I was able to separate the two wires and the hum went away. There should be a note in the instructions about this. The biggest disappointment I have with Alexa is that she doesn't understand me. As of now I've found that most of the alarms that Amazon offers on Alexa are not reliable for my purposes. You can go into Alexa with a computer and select different alarms, etc. It is still difficult for me to find the optimal It may also be a problem that Alexa must be in a conversation with you. In the event that my spouse is asleep before I go to bed and I forgot to set an alarm, I would either have to talk loudly with Alexa while waking him up, or I would have to use my computer to set an alarm, which takes much longer It is necessary to say "Alexa stop" to turn off the alarm. While you are getting up, which can lead to a tense and unwanted conversation with Alexa, it is best not to continue talking to her. For certain days you want to wake up earlier, or later, you can set an alarm to go off at that time adn leave it on continuously for the entire day. You can set an alarm for November 15th to go off every Tuesday at 6am, and it will go off every Tuesday This way you don't have to remember to tell Alexa before going Flexibility is one of its most important features. It is possible for more than one person to use the alarm features. The alarm clock is controlled by voice, so there is no need to use separate alarm clocks. The device does not also have to be close to the user. UPDATED I had some Alexa problems that I solved! It turns out that you can tell Alexa to snooze for another 9 minutes by telling her "Alexa, snooze". Also, as far as volume and alarms are concerned. ask Alexa to rouse me by saying "Alexa, wake me up. ". I find that music wakes me better than Alexa alarms, sometimes almost on the first note, if I choose to use your playlist or one of Amazon's. By using your playlist or an Amazon playlist, the music will start on time. Additionally, my unit has been able to be turned down to a quieter level. Despite Alexa no longer yelling at me and the music still waking me, I continue to hear it. Could I recommend Dire Straights "Walk of Life" if you're planning to create your own "Wake Me" playlist. I find that to be effective.

I've got a spot for my dot
4/5

Thanks for the excellent speaker! I'm very happy with it! It enhanced the sound quality, and it looks wonderful. Echo Dot sits perfectly and is easy to connect to your existing speaker system. In addition to replacing an old FM/AM alarm clock, this iHome speaker system has also replaced my old speaker. My initial concern was that the speaker did not feature FM/AM radio, but I believe Echo Dot addresses that issue. Alexa and Echo Dot played some of my favorite radio stations through TuneIn Radio, because I asked Alexa to play a few of my favorite stations. The features on the Echo Dot alarm clock are pretty cool, as is the fact this speaker fills the room with amazing It's nice to have the clock dimmer on this speaker at night, especially when I'm getting ready for bed. The speaker lacks daylight savings time and does not have Bluetooth, which is disappointing, but it's.

It was a breeze to set up and was perfect for me! This clock speaker makes my Dot so much more fun! It has great sound, which is similar to the quality of my Echo, so it's a significant upgrade from Although some people had difficulty connecting the little cord in the back to the Dot, I did not have any trouble getting the device to work
5/5

I didn't have to spend any more time than a few seconds on it. My first connection was to the Dot and then to the speaker. It took me just a few minutes to have everything up and running with the time set. My impression is that the Dot hears me better in the clock dock somehow. It is great that there is a charging port, too, for my iPhone. It's the Bluetooth speaker I've been using for my other Dot, and I love it too. Having used IHome products, I can attest that they are good. They had previously provided me with an iPhone docking station and speaker and they were just as good as it gets.
