As long as you use it that way, it's fine. I am not sure what it does to the battery, however.
On top of the base, you can adjust the small screen to put yourself or whatever on the right hand
The Show 5 comes with a USB charger that can be used to charge the device. There is a small plug on the base and portable battery that connects to the Since mine does not require that I wait for it to restart, I can move from room to room without stopping to drag my device.

With regards to the LED screen, I wish it had a more accurate battery life indicator. I think that is my biggest complaint. Using the magnetic attachment makes it easy to attach and detach the device. In the review, I saw someone comment on the poor battery life. For any technology, if you set it on full brightness, the battery life you can use goes down, and the lower you set it, the longer the battery life you can get. (How you use it depends.
If you are going to use this device wirelessly for a few hours around the house, then you should think twice about this purchase. In 8 hours! Make sure you do it right The book is a great buy!.
The battery on this device has not been able to hold a charge for some strange reason after 45 days of usage. One light flashes on and off to indicate that the device is charging below 25% when it is plugged in. In any case, it stays that way no matter how long it is We are not sure if the performance of the device was affected by the charger plug being stubborn at times. I am sorry, but we live in a foreign country, and have passed the return period. We are still willing to spend another $30+ dollars on a new one, however, because this product was so good.
Everything works perfectly with this battery! Echo users should be able to use this feature as a standard option. As for the Echo, I unplug it and carry it around the house, out in the yard or out on the patio. Its portability makes it perfect!.
Once the battery is in the Echo Show 5, plug the Echo Show 5 into an outlet and connect it to the Echo Show 5. I wanted to share this in case some of you tech savvy folks are having the same problem I was having. The battery base is very useful.
I would recommend it. I like it because the tilt feature allows me to take it all over the house for video calls and music, as well as whatever I need. Its battery lasts about a day.
