It is as good as or even better than that. Originally, I was recording on a Sony, but I stopped. Rather than sticking with the Sony to record, I went for the Sharp. I am pleasantly surprised that this has many advantages over it. With the AA batteries that don't need screws, you'll get higher line output, better editing, a longer battery and an improved battery life We have a case on hand. The skipping continues. There is none. In addition to having some bumbpy terrain to mow (2 hours) on a fast moving industrial rider, I have 4 acres of yard to mow (2 hours). In the last three weeks, there has not been one skip. It doesn't make sense to spend the extra cash! I don't mind the size of the camera a little bit as it is larger than Sony.
A live recording can be done with this unit. In an earlier review (July 9, 2002 by "an electronics fan"), it is noted that "the sync mode cannot be disabled. ". There is nothing true about this. Recordings can be done either with or without sync mode, and from any source, including a microphone. My intention was to record live events on the SR60, so I almost chose not to buy it when I first read the User Review on July 9. However, I discovered some more information (even found a user manual at This unit is just right for my usage), so I was pleased to hear. A few weeks ago, I purchased an SR60, and I A great deal of live music can be recorded with it.
As a gadget freak, it is pretty important to me. Currently, I have a studio where I record all of my shows, which has an amazing quality. Users of this unit will find it easy to operate and sturdy! Sharp has made it a great product! That's a really cool tool. A 5 out of 5 rating!.
In other words, it's a great tool that's easy to use.
I didn't succeed at all.
I am very disappointed because it has never worked.
Having trouble affording a DAT deck, which costs a lot of money, I needed something else to mix on. Despite my reluctance, I tried the Sharp, and what did I find? We've had a lot of fun! An inexpensive optical cable allows me to transfer my mixes straight to minidisc. I did not notice any loss in quality. Additionally, I can record live shows and rehearsals using the vintage AIWA stereo mike I used to own when I owned a high quality cassette recorder. I've never encountered anything like this, and it's way better than a There is no microphone with the unit, which is unfortunately the case. Other than that, I do not like that the buttons are small and are more difficult to use than what you would expect to find on a typical mini-PC. Recording device for cassette tapes. In addition, it is rugged to me. The recording device is my daily carry I wear it in my pocket, backpack, and subject it to a considerable amount of abuse, and after 6 months, it still works. It does eat batteries, however, while recording. You will need an alkaline battery about every 74 minutes of this minidisc, although an AC adaptor and rechargeable battery are provided.
Just bought one at Amazon, and I have to tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. The Sony minidisc model sounded a little unreliable after reading complaints about recording problems in two MiniDisc groups I participated in. Although it had a common problem with errors, people who had later used Sony minidiscs in their Sharp recorders did not have this problem. Then, I went to the store, picked up some Sonys, and everything worked perfectly. There has not yet been an error! The 24-bit audio quality of the 2480 is quite good I have nothing but great things to say about bit ATRAC! The camera I had before this was the Sony MZR-S There is no comparison between the two in terms of sound quality. is the winner, no doubt about it! Furthermore, the bass boost of the digital music is excellent. I have never seen it muddy Once that's done, you can turn up the bottom end until it's max boost. However, there may be some trade-offs. Plastic composes the entire chassis, which is one of the reasons for the inexpensive price. In spite of the fact that this unit is plastic, it feels really solid. Here are the ins- It doesn't come with a line remote (also plastic). There is a feeling that it will snap as soon as a stiff breeze blows. (One saving grace is that it is relatively cheap. No vital components are housed inside the remote, so it cannot break. In addition, this recorder is heavier and larger than recent models from other companies (and was also built with a small battery) Hog), but other companies charge (There is no MDLP either, but anyone who expects MDLP at this price range is not thinking clearly! Right now you can get a great minidisc deal. Recorders such as these have a very nice sound and feature a lot of useful functions. It is not the most attractive or the sturdiest recorder out there, but it is head and shoulders above anything AT ALL in.
