If you have a small screwdriver, you can remove the top of the unit and then lift the printed circuit board out of the plastic case with the batteries mounted on it. By pushing the batteries out towards the PCB's edge, you'll be able to slide them out of the battery tabs. Your recorded message will not be lost if you reassemble the unit properly. Thanks.
Only one recording can be made at a time.
At the moment, we don't have a motion-sensitive voice record playback module.
Yes, the unit only uses power when the record or play button is pressed.

My mother died, and I was able to capture her voice from a video on my phone, which was crystal clear.
The recorder did its job flawlessly. I needed a recording of my mother's favorite pet cat because she was in the hospital. I bought a stuffed cat that resembled her baby and recorded him meowing and purring using the voice recorder. She slept with her cat in her hospital bed because she adored it. Great product that is both clear and simple to use.
My phone rang and it was my mother's voicemail. Because she passed away recently, I made a Father's Day memory Bear out of her clothes for my father. I purchased this voice recorder and was blown away by how simple it was to record and playback. I also appreciate the fact that the batteries are replaceable. It performs much better than I had anticipated.
This was a breeze to use, and it's small enough to fit in your pocket. Switch to record mode and record what you need, then switch to play mode and keep it as is if you like the sound. If you want to test it out, put in the animal/toy of your choice (I did baby Yoda) and press the button while it's in the toy to see if the placement is correct; if you need to turn it off, there is an off switch. This seller is someone I would purchase from again. The item arrived in good condition.
So I made the decision to take the do-it-yourself route. Instead of going to build a bear and paying nearly $45, I took the cheaper route and bought a Voicebox so I could record my baby's heartbeat and stitch it into a stuffed animal that I received for Valentine's Day and for extra measure stuffed in a lavender Pouch and just to get backup in a cost me no less than $12. As I previously stated, it is extremely simple to use and can be placed almost anywhere.
The product arrived quickly, and it was so simple to use that my 7-year-old grandson and I completed our recording on the first try! Even through two plastic bags and the stuffing in the toy, the audio is loud enough to be heard. Even when I'm at work, the dog can easily "press play," and she can now hear us singing to her. We're all in a great mood right now!.
For what I'm doing with it, the sound quality is adequate. As promised, the package did not arrive the next day. That's something I've noticed a lot lately with Amazon Prime, so I factored in extra time for delivery. If it says next day delivery, however, it should be delivered the next day.
It comes with crusted and nearly dead batteries. The item includes batteries, but I'm not sure how long they've been sitting there because they die almost immediately. The first one I ordered lasted two days before cutting off after only two seconds of sound, which was a big problem because the sound recorder was sewn into a Christmas doll. The doll had to be reopened, and the recorder had to be returned. The new one arrived, and after two days, it began to cut off. When I opened it to see what batteries it took, I noticed that the batteries inside were already crusted over from sitting for too long. This has been nothing but a pain in the neck. It has a clear sound and is simple to use when it works.
