Sony ICD-UX570 Digital Voice Recorder, ICDUX570BLK

I have almost every Sony personal voice recorder that has ever been produced. This is not a joke. For the past 40 years, I've been a news reporter. This is the most recent update to their mid-term plan. Personal voice recorder range is very good in terms of price. This model is significantly different from its predecessor, the ICD- UX560. br>br>Sony has taken the simple search function and put it on the front of the recorder with its own buttons. This is a brand-new project with a lot of potential. The - Three and ten buttons are available. This greatly enhances the ability to transcribe (without uploading) directly from the device. This is a fantastic and practical capability. br>br>While the UX570 is the same size as the UX560, Sony made a few minor design tweaks to accommodate this row of buttons. br>br>It appears to be on par, if not better, than previous models in terms of recording quality. The software interface appears to be the same, which has always been simple to use. br>br>Sony did an excellent job with this device. br>br>While many reporters today record with their cell phones, which is fine, I prefer specialized voice recorders because (1) they have more storage (2) they have better microphones (3) they can connect external microphones. (4). You can quickly transfer files to your computer using the USB. Even if you're using your phone as your primary recorder, having a backup is still a good idea.

I wish I had the ability to give this a four-star rating. 5 stars. br>At first, I used the auto voice settings to record my YouTube audio, and it sounded a lot worse than the previous UX560. I went into the settings and changed it to Voice Notes, and it now sounds identical to the UX560. The UX570 is slightly thicker than the UX560, which is the only drawback. Why? I'm not sure. Anyway, it's still a great recorder for syncing my YouTube videos. br>br>I own the UX560 and was very pleased with the sound quality when recording. br>Because the UX570 was a newer model, I assumed it would be superior. My ears prefer the recorded voice from UX560. If I can describe it, the UX570 reduces the depth of my voice. I use them to record audio for my YouTube channel, but I'm going to use the UX560 as my primary camera and the UX570 as a backup. Very dissatisfied.

I bought it so I could keep track of dream descriptions without having to get out of bed in the middle of the night and scribble notes in a notebook or on my computer. I didn't consider it when I was shopping for a voice recorder, but now I wish I had spent more time deciding on a model. During the day, the screen is easily readable, but at night, it is bright enough to burn a hole in your eye and exit through the back of your head. There doesn't appear to be any way to dim the screen for use at night. So far, this has been my only gripe, but it's a big one. To make the screen work for its intended purpose, I'll have to use some translucent tape on it. I was let down.

As the title suggests, I'm using a Sony UX570 to supplement/replace the audio from a GoPro Hero 7 camera. Usually used in conjunction with an external microphone - (omni- lavaliere with windscreen, directional). The audio is crystal clear and crisp. Battery life is exceptional; recharging is simple and quick. A small power bank can be used to charge the device. It's quick and easy to transfer files from the retractable USB dongle to the computer using the built-in logical file system. Could be used as a digital music player (via wired headphones or earbuds); SD cards can be swapped out in the blink of an eye - SDHC or SDXC cards are both acceptable options. Size is incredibly small - 4”x1. 5”x. 5”. Additional note when using an external microphone: Amazon does not include a soft case, whereas Sony and other retailers do for the same price. TRS is the type of input on the recorder. A (simple/cheap) adapter is required for a TRRS microphone.

Other than the standard names provided by Sony, there is no way to customize the renaming of your recordings. The user interface is clumsy and unintuitive, and your voice recordings' organizational capabilities are lacking. This device is for you if all you want to do is start and stop recording. This is not the game for you if you want a great user experience with simple interfaces. Sony made a bad design choice. Furthermore, the Sony Sound Organizer application does not install, and it appears that there is no way to organize your recordings on the computer.

Unique most value for the money don't go for the cheapest option on the market most powerfull rich option recorder on the market very clear recording the VOR option you don't miss a word I tried two different brands before settling on the Sony ICD-RX1. UX570 . and the first two should be returned. Sony is the best. It's like comparing a sandcastle to a real royal castle in terms of quality. It comes with the software Sound Organizer2, which is extremely useful.
