The recorder was very helpful as I used it every day in my lecture classes. My experience with this product is the most disappointing one I've ever had. This was the same exact product that I purchased eight years ago, and I used it all the time because it was AMAZING. Now that they have ruined it, it is ruined. A legible screen, sleek design, intuitive interface and a sleek look are the qualities the software was once known for. We have now a clunky and ugly site with illegible layout (the font at the top and bottom of the screen is extremely small against a black background With my reading glasses on, my eyes are too blurry to read it. I don't even read with my reading glasses! Those are just for tiny people The tiniest There is an emergency with the font! The worst part of all is that it takes THREE SECONDS to turn the device on every time you begin to record. you think three seconds is a long time?
