The meter was used to measure the electricity. On low power, it consumes one watt, while on high power it consumes three watts.
Because this is a cb radio, there is no need to obtain a license to use it.
A short rubber antenna is included that is attached directly to the radio.
It will do everything you want it to do and more than any cobra handheld, all whilst being 1000 times better than any radio you can buy. You're wrong!
Selected User Reviews For President Randy FCC Handheld or Mobile CB Radio with Weather Channel and Alerts
on these handheld CB radios are rarely or never found on handheld Despite being a small radio, it looks and feels very sturdy, and the layout is extremely intuitive (if you have used other President radios before). As you might expect, this is not even like a handheld CB radio it looks much more like a handheld GMRS radio. In order for this review to be thorough, a little background should be provided It is my intention to acquire a great deal of CB radio I tend to buy a lot of Cobras and other more traditional-looking I was unable to fit any of those radios in any of my modern cars because they are all so big. I came across the President Bill and was blown away by how brilliant that radio A little later, I got a bigger vehicle that had a little more space, and then I upgraded to the Presidential Is the McKinley the best mobile CB/band radio ever, or may even be the best that has ever been made. Consequently, it did not take me long to buy the President handheld CB as soon as I saw it on the market. As opposed to the other ones, it does not take 8 AA batteries. In contrast to those other screens, it has a great screen that is so easy to see. Read the product description if you want to learn more about the features but this one has ANL/NB/HiCut, DW, VOX, West Virginia Weather Alert channel, Roger Beep, ASC, and The flashlight on this radio actually seems cool, and it has 4 different settings. I'm usually not a fan of flashlights on radios, but this one looks nice. In spite of its rubber duck form, the antenna is very flexible. It would be best if it wasn't bent too much and not bent in half. While other handhelds were unable to pick up the same clear speech, I was able to hear it very clearly from inside my house. It is possible for the battery to be running low on the older handheld, however, the Randy may also be only halfway charged. Nonetheless, here are a couple of things that made me think it deserved maybe a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars This is *br1. My biggest complaint is the price. I feel like it's a little too high for a radio nut like me. Additionally, without a doubt, this is the best portable CB radio on the market right now, and you always get what you pay for. It is attached to the belt. It is not my favorite thing about radios to have belt clips that swing around. There is too much sway in them, and they are too bulky. This may be a slight improvement over the old handhelds, which used a thin, tight metal belt clip almost impossible to use, but why couldn't they just use a clip like those used by handheld dual band ham radios? This kind of belt clip is necessary since you can use the Randy like a mobile radio and it has a metal circle on the back for a mic holder. Thus, it's just a slight disappointment for me. 3 *br > In contrast to a bayonet attachment, this antenna is not a screw-on type. In this case, it is for a mobile radio antenna adapter that can be used as a mobile radio. Furthermore, it is once again a matter of choice. The fourth point. In the last one, I am not bothered by it, but some people might be bothered by it. Though Randy has the best button and function layout among the President series, it lacks a bit of the unique style of the President line. It will take you some time to become familiar with the President layout if you are not familiar with It's hard not to fall in love with this amazing radio manufacturer once you've tried it. It occurs because the buttons have to do multiple tasks because of the many functions and the limited number of buttons. It's probably the simplest out of the three except maybe for I would like to point out a stupid little detail, but please don't pay too much attention to it Picking fruit. The best CB radio you can get hand-held is this one. If I were to buy it again, I would without a doubt do so. Having more than one radio is always a good idea! This is a nice surprise from President Obama, and I hope there are more to come. There are no plans in the works by President regarding a base station, but I would love to have one!.
There are lots of great features on the radio itself! On the other hand, there is one negative thing about the package it does not come with the full mobile kit or the bundle with the EU version of the President Randy III. In this situation you will have to deal with the antenna coax sticking out of the top of your radio and in your face, making mobile operations uncomfortable. Mobile kits come with an adapter that has a long coax cable that empties out from the bottom of the unit along with a powered 12 volt cable FCC versions have only a charging adapter, and EU versions come with both. Another issue is that the battery is internal and does not seem to be readily available for purchase anywhere, including on the President web site. I hope that extra batteries and charging adapters will become available in the future, as if you break or lose the charging adapter block, the radio is rendered useless. The following is the first update Upon contact with President, I was told that replacement batteries for the Randy FCC will be made available Moreover, they said that the mobile kit that comes with the Randy III EU version would not work with the Randy FCC, although they did not explain why that would be the case. That's too bad! The following is the second update I have noticed that the battery does seem to last only for a short period of time, even without doing any transmission. There's no way to extend battery life past four or five hours. A very disappointing experience.
It has to be the smallest CB I have ever seen. I'm not familiar with any other radio that's close to as compact as this one. it lacks is SSB, but this isn't an extended range radio, so that can be overlooked. It's a great cellular cellular phone, if you accept it is mainly a walkie talkie on the 11 m band.
I'm finally able to operate a cb radio with my hand held This little beauty works great for staying in touch, the squelch and NB as well as the anl work well. With land, we need a radio that will carry us 3 miles from the letterbox to my house. This is a great radio station.
There is nothing to compare to this radio. It is the best handheld cb ever made. If you want to know more about it, feel free to contact me at jlpriest63@yahoo. com. I would like to hear from you, Joe.
Nevertheless, I do not like the fact that it does not have SSB. It's unclear what the dead key's wattage is, but it must be very low since it's range is so short. The battery life is also pretty short. Even if I had to buy it again, I would not if I knew everything I know now. The problem is that I would have waited for another product that would have actually made sense regarding the high price. It appears to be a good radio from an electronic standpoint, though.
Greetings, Mr. President!.
