The earpiece is of good quality. A great deal of thought has gone into the sound quality. I was looking for one that would work with my Motorola headset. There is a short distance between the headset and the earpiece, so you cannot wear the headset while clipping it to your belt. Having a long torso or being tall could make it more difficult to wear the pants I would opt for a different earpiece if you are going to wear the headset at your hip. In case you want to use it some other way or are short in stature, this earpiece is a good deal. I am five feet five inches tall & I use it every day. With the headset plugged into the earpiece, it barely reached my waist & the earpiece barely reached the tip of my nose As I bent or reached, the rug would tug at me.
