The Motorola radio is the only radio you can buy
The connection determines how far the connection can go. Using this works fine with Kenwood radios at my job. I am not exactly sure what the maintenance department uses, but I believe this will work.

It works perfectly. The OEM mic is fantastic. I used to work for a company that offered them as standard equipment. A new security company is hiring me, and they won't let me have a microphone! I decided that this was not a good choice for me, so I spent my own money on a proper mic. Spending money on a work item was one of the best decisions I have made. There is no way I could recommend this product highly enough. The connection is snug, the button/clip is of high quality, and I can get back to taking reports without having to deal The following tips are bonuses The mics in security or police vehicles can pick up your voice well as long as you look straight at the subject / witness. You don't have to lean your head or unclip the mic and hold it in your hand, or you don't have to take your eyes off the person you are talking to. At a large shopping center, I used to be in charge of training around 70 security officers, and this was one of my curriculums. The number of times I have seen security / police officer speaking to someone, then turning their heads to key up, even to a point of turning their whole body away from someone so they can talk to their dispatcher / sergeant, taking their eyes off someone, and even falling. Trying to get the word out about one thing I'm passionate about. Don't think twice about choosing this mic, you won't be disappointed.
You may want to look here first before buying any of these from your dealer. This is a great method to talk, other than the talk button being a little soft to key. It is easy to get used to the softness of the mic key. Unlike some of the others available, the plug that goes into the radio is very sturdy and doesn't generate static like some others. I am extremely pleased with the overall outcome.
In addition to the Motorola c2000 we have at work, I also purchased a P1225 to go with this mic. Both the sending and receiving of the transmissions are clear and loud. Despite situations where things are tossed and turned, the key remains in place and the clip does not come loose. As you can see, there is a Jack slot for an earpiece that I haven't used The device is free of panic buttons or volume controls. The cord is about a medium length but still stretches as it is coiled. I wear my radio at around 8 o'clock and run my mic over my right shoulder to mid chest, which does not restrict my movements. In some situations, taking your radio on and off your hip might not be an option for you. This mic is a spectacular value especially when you don't have the luxury of taking your radio on and off your hip.
As part of a package deal, I bought two Motorola RMV2080 Walkie Talkies. The mic plug for the walkie talkies doesn't fit well at all due to poor design. The only way to use them is to modify them, which makes no sense. I didn't think the combo was worth it.
A lot of knock-offs of this design are available on the market. No speaker mic can beat the quality and performance of the Motorola Speaker Mic. It's so tough that I don't have to worry about it getting damaged no matter how hard I push it. Despite the fact that audio quality is amazing, and it easily clips to any surface, it's also easy to use. There was just one thing I didn't like the cord was too short!.
After a few days, the speaker started going in/out during transmission and receiving after the audio jack had not worked, we tried multiple pairs of headphones and none of them worked, the audio jack is obviously not working.
A year ago I bought one on sale for a low price. There was always a fuzzy sound, now there is no sound. Compared to my old one, this new one has better sound quality. This is the first one I've had. I like it My daily life would not be complete without this device. It's great to see you guys! I hope it stays this way.
