As a matter of fact, I have not suffered from soreness around my ears after using this product. When I use my outer tactical vest, or when fighting with someone, I have no problems with it getting tangled or tying up, or loss of audio. As long as I stand right next to them and hear dangerous information on a subject, I don't mind it. If you are fighting with someone, always make sure you can hear when your emergency button goes off by pulling the cord out of the radio to avoid the need to disengage the earpiece and to use your speaker mic instead.

Even though I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get used to an earpiece, I decided to give it a shot. My first move was to use the other included earpiece attachment, and that is also something I recommend. The earbud style allows you to hear out of that ear without having to put your ear buds in. takes about one week for your ear to adjust to it and you will feel a little sore, but it is worth the effort. When I'm on a call, it's nice not to hear my mic shrieking while I'm trying to talk to someone. Having an earpiece fall out makes it easy to disconnect the phone.

I will not purchase it My money would be better spent on something else if I could get it back. This book received 2 stars for the following reasons. The function is effective. But I've had ones that worked even better at a lower cost. It's a waste of time listening to the audio for this. Whenever I receive a call, the voice is muffled and tinny, and I have a difficult time understanding my dispatchers or co-workers. It comes with three ear pieces, and all three of them are the same size, very small, and do not fit the ear canal well, so outside noise can exacerbate the poor audio quality.

I have only used this for one shift so far, but I am pleased with it. The sound quality is pretty good, though there is some echo. But I've had that with just about any ear piece for years. The quality of the headphones seems fine, and the cord is the right length. However, I did add a different piece that will keep the headphones in my ears more comfortably.
