Frank Rizzo, I'm going to give you two tapes for the price of one.
I expected four cassettes, but the picture only shows four.

As a result, you must be aware that this is not a Type II tape of exceptional quality. When you look at the tape, you'll notice that it's a dark brown color rather than the mirror black that most Type IIs have. This is a step down from the Maxell XLII, but an upgrade over standard Type I tapes (and a step above Sony's HF tape). br>br>On an old Portastudio, I'm using this tape to achieve tape saturation for drum samples. I could use this to record entire tracks to tape or even an entire record to tape, but if I had the choice, I'd go with something like a Maxell XLII. So for me, this is good for sampling and getting that lo-fi tape sound, but not for recording music. That isn't to say the audio quality isn't adequate. This is fantastic. The bass response is stronger here, and the high frequencies are rolled off in a similar way to Type I tapes, albeit slightly better. It doesn't have the same muffled sound as a Type I, but it does share many of the same characteristics. It's almost as if it were a Type I of exceptional quality. I like how the bass frequencies on this tape get saturated without sounding like you're listening to music through a blanket.
I misread the description and assumed it came with more than one, but these are the best cassettes I've used in a long time; they have a much more sturdy feel than the clear Maxell ones, which isn't to say they're bad.
Get something that isn't meant for the general public but is still usable.
Perfect for my needs and of extremely high quality.
a fantastic recording.
