Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use a microphone to record with this?

I'm not certain. It was purchased so that I could listen to audio books. It's a waste of time. It's difficult to get a small part back into the battery compartment after it fell out. Make sure you don't throw your money away.

Is the radio's recorder capable of recording a radio station? Is it okay if I use the headset that we recorded to listen to the radio?

I'm not sure about radio station recording, but I do listen to cassette tapes through headphones.

Is there a jack for headphones?

I believe it does, but I am not in possession of it. When I tried to put batteries in it, a metal part in the battery compartment fell apart, so it's basically useless. It's something I've never been able to put to good use. First and foremost, I must correct the problem.

Do you have a 110/220 volt electrical outlet?

Only 110 acres are available for purchase.

The sound quality when playing a tape is better than I expected for the price, but there is virtually no bass
3/5

The unit is smaller and lighter than I expected based on the picture, which usually indicates poor sound quality, but it works fine when listening to a tape rather than the radio. The radio doesn't pick up much, and you have to tune it in dead center to get it to pick up the station. Overall, the sound quality of the radio is poor. This unit is not suitable for a large room and will not be able to completely fill it. Designed for one or two people to listen to in a quiet setting or as a book shelf unit. Again, this is better than I anticipated, but it is acceptable for the price. Let's hope it sticks around for a long time.

My cassettes were totally ruined
3/5

I needed to listen to a few cassettes, so I purchased this item. Although I wasn't expecting much, I was very disappointed with this item because it ruined my cassettes, despite the fact that it came in a fun purple color and was small in size. The fast-forward button made a grinding sound as it yanked the ribbon from the tape. When I tried a second tape, the ribbon inside the player began to unravel while it was playing. It's to be expected that the sound quality isn't great. In general, I would not advise purchasing this item.

My cassettes were also ruined as a result
3/5

The same thing happened to me as it did to the other reviewers. The first cassette I tried to play became tangled in knots and was ruined. br>br>Since then, I've come to the conclusion that the percentage of bad ratings on Amazon, not the average rating, is the best indicator of product quality. Over 40% of reviewers rated this product a 1. or 2- a rating of five stars That is an astronomically high percentage.

The product is effective
3/5

A little assistance with shipping is required. Because of the way it was shipped, I'm only giving it two stars instead of five. This was purchased for my daughter to use. So far, it's worked perfectly and hasn't eaten any tapes or other media, but we've only used it a few times. However, I was taken aback by the manner in which it was delivered. They mailed it after slapping a label on the actual box it was packaged in. The player was in good working order when it arrived, despite the fact that the box was damaged and opened. They weren't even able to tape the ends together.

The ideal kitchen radio station
5/5

THIS RADIO IS EXTREMELY INTERESTING TO ME. It's ideal for listening to the news first thing in the morning, and it also works wonders with old cassette tapes. My children listen to a collection of old Adventures In Odyssey tapes on this. That's exactly what it's for. It doesn't take up a lot of room, but it produces a lot of noise!.

DISAPPOINTED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT
3/5

The tapes are either too slow to play or are completely consumed. Even when it's plugged in, it's not a good idea. I also experimented with different types of batteries. The sound isn't very loud, which would have been fine if I hadn't been wearing headphones. For a fast forward setting, it does not go very fast. Because it does not stop automatically when the tape is finished, it will continue to spin. I don't have a box, so if it tips over on the bed, it stops. I wrapped a gift with it. I never complain or send things back, but this is truly deserving of zero stars. If possible, I will return it to you. I'm still double-checking the facts. Although I'm glad it wasn't too costly, I was disappointed nonetheless.

It's adequate and dependable
4/5

Although the portable is small, it functions perfectly right out of the box. It's not complicated- not as cumbersome as older recorders It works fine for simple projects; however, don't expect a lot of volume or high sound quality. It's a decent recorder in its most basic form. br>I only need it to create archives because I use it to record music ideas I have. If I didn't have a good external microphone, I wouldn't use it to record music. For the price, this is a good unit.

It is suitable for the elderly
5/5

This was purchased for an elderly friend who had recently relocated from a large home to a small apartment. Her old radio/tape player took up too much space in her small apartment. Yes, this was a perfect fit for her. It lacks a CD player, but she only owns tapes and has no desire to add to her collection.
