It is leveled in a level place, and has not been moved. I first had intermittent playback (with a brand new CD) and after the fifth time it would play for maybe five minutes before then it would stop. In the meantime, it will not even register the CD. I plan on returning to see what the situation is.

I bought this boombox as a gift for my elderly mother In order to listen to cds, they had to get a more complex sound system to be able to use them. In the time that it took the family member to check on them and find out that the machine did not work, the product return period had already expired. We were able to get our money back thanks to Amazon. I am so grateful that Amazon came through for me, even though the item was defective.

I received it and it stopped working right away. The device was used for one day and then I would play the CD for about 10 seconds and then it would stop No matter which CD I try, it does not I am disappointed.

In March of this year, I bought this CD boombox for the purpose of listening to meditation CDs. My house has several CD players and I have tried CDs from my own house as well as CDs that play in other players. As of now, it doesn't even recognize the CD is in, but just spins incessantly. My iPhone speaker has just turned out to be out of warranty, so look like I'll have to buy another one. Let me give you a little piece of advice. If you buy this, buy the If not, then not to worry and look for another brand like Sony. Also, read all the reviews for that model before buying.

Our desire was to purchase an inexpensive, small CD player so we could take it camping and fishing when there was no WI-FI About $20 is the cheapest price you can get for a name brand player. I'll let you in on a secret. I've never seen anything like it like this - Small, cheap, and it sounds like a music player from a long time ago. It is a transistor radio (ask your father or grandfather), which is still in use today. I would like it more if it had an auxiliary jack for better sound, but there is not one. The song is cheap as is, because you can turn it up to full blast. Therefore, if you want an inexpensive CD player that you can use and abuse without feeling bad if you break it or drop it in the lake or it gets eaten by a bear, this is the CD player The $20 price tag should not be forgotten, It was as low as $15 for transistor radios when they were first getting popular in 1962 (the equivalent of It would cost around $300 or $850 today for a BOOMBOX from 1980. This is what the boombox looked like when I received it. In my test of a partial song or two, I found it played just fine. Let me put that away until I need it again. A CD player was purchased to be installed in I had to use it later, but had to wait until then. I have only used it today, and that was the first time! It's a very disappointing experience. It was too late to complain or return it after the window had closed. My bag is now my only option for carrying it. Although I've had a problem with CDs not playing (so far), I did manage to load the game. As for today, I only played three songs. We hope that it will keep working for a long time to come.
