You do not receive either a battery or an AC charger with this purchase. It was important to me to be able to use the Ryobi batteries as an emergency phone charger / electronics charger, AND I also wanted a battery operated radio in case a power outage occurred. Since I already have batteries and chargers, I would be able to use this radio to remain informed as well as entertained if there was a power outage. It does have an AUX port and a cable that allow one to connect other devices not utilising Bluetooth to the radio, so one can play music from these devices using the radio's speakers. Its USB port and its AUX port are for charging only. In addition, the radio is also equipped with a Bluetooth connection, so you can use the radio as a remote speaker When the radio's basic mission is accomplished, it does so well. A radio station is played in the background. Recently, I took this radio out into the yard to entertain myself while doing yard work and was able to listen to music, with the volume at 9 out of 10, for about 6 hours and I think that I could have gone several hours longer before running out of battery power. The Ryobi tool I used came with a smaller battery, so it was able to run quite a long time on one battery, long enough if you were to use a large 4X lithium battery. The device has not yet been used to charge anything, but I would think it would also be able to handle that function flawlessly. The layout looks good as well. With its compact size, this radio is perfect for the office. It is not too heavy or too big but something that can endure in a working It has a nice look as well. If you use a battery, its battery life isn't very long, but if you plug it in with a regular cable (the cable is not included so you will need an extension cord) it works fine, and the sound quality is quite nice for a little radio like this. Reviewers tend to be accurate in their assessments. It is hard to receive FM radio. Sound quality is only ok for FM transmission I would say that the range is The Bluetooth speaker that includes a radio and rechargingable battery is a great choice for me. In comparison to BT, FM is a night and day difference. This is strange! My phone runs FM stations perfectly fine and I do not need to install any software!
