Questions & Answers

Do I want to keep this quality item or do I want to throw it ?

What a waste of time. CDs can't be played with the player without playing back The sound would have been much better if it had worked, but it would still be overpriced considering the size. This is my third boombox CD player in the past Despite my desperate efforts, I have to continually return them to Amazon because they are Whether this is due to the trade war between China and the United States or if China just forgot how to make CD players is not known to me. In exchange for my last portable stereo, which was an awesome Craig Electronics CD Boombox with AM/FM Stereo Radio, I'm still searching for an equivalent quality (by quality I mean something that will correctly play CDs). The seller lost stock of the item and replaced it with this Jensen crap instead. In the process of looking.

Has it been shipped with the AC power ?

This is the first time we've received one. I don't have a power cord. In addition, we don't have any ac cords that will fit.

After ordering this item and putting in a Cdit, I received an error message. Is there any other thing I must do besides removing the hard disk tray cover?

The game I was playing just ended. The CD switch does not work because it stops in the middle of a song. This is a very disappointing experience. Various CDs were tried and the result was the same.

Is it possible to use ear buds with it?

didn't know if it would work with ear buds so I purchased it as a gift for a friend. I am sorry that I couldn't be of more help to

This is amazing! Good sound at this price
5/5

This is not a review from a seller but a viewpoint from a paying customer- A reduction of the product price in return for a positive My profession is machining and engineering, so I am quite familiar with, and pay for, high quality true-to-life sound systems. I own three Bose Wave radios, and the Bose Home Theater Surround System that I use at home. There are no sounds like life. My work environment is noisy, dirty, and it is filled with heavy machinery. The unit had to be small, lightweight, and capable of playing CD's with acceptable sound in an air-filled environment. There's no more amplified, artificially boosted "super bass" that everyone seems to want with this one. Plays high quality Jensen speaker sound, without the amplified, artificially boosted "super bass. " It is easy for me to switch from Smooth Jazz to real Jazz to Blues and Classical music to satisfy all my tastes. In my experience, I have attended plenty of Symphony performances, so I know what live music actually sounds like compared to the artificially loud pounding sound that is merely disguised as music. Bose creates an actual, authentic sound and for its price, it delivers pretty good results. I can fit it easily into the compartment of my rolling toolbox because it is small and light. If it is ruined on the job, I will just buy another one since I have spent less than $50. Even if you don't want to talk about the cost of my Bose Wave radios, I'll mention the cost of my home theater For this price, it doesn't come close to the sound of a Bose very good system.

I would not recommend investing in this player! I recommend that you do not purchase this! Since I bought it back in July, it has worked fine
3/5

There was a very good sound, and I was able to play my CDs. I tried to play the CD, but it wouldn't play the CD from start to finish, and I think this is due to the fact that I normally play MP3 - CDs have been burned. I didn't particularly care about the last few tracks that would not play, most of which did not bother me. On the other hand, I was playing a newly burned CD yesterday, and it stopped playing when it got to the last track, which it has in the past. On this occasion, however, it would not play ANY more tracks, and when I placed another CD in the player, it did the same thing. Be very careful not to handle it. It is a piece of junk. The mess is unmanageable!.

The product comes with a 3 month warranty and is hot glue welded! Towards the end, it was nothing but junk
3/5

the CD player anyway despite the negative reviews since I would not be giving it to children. I also thought the CD player would not break if I didn't mess with Is that right? This is incorrect. This CD Play is dated September 2016 according to the CD Play. November 2016 was the date when I bought it. 15th of June was the date it died! A total of 9 to 10 months passed during this time period. The sound on the radio went out as I was listening to it. When I had first thought the station had stopped working, however, I realized that the power had been cut off. Due to the fact that it had never been dropped and was less than a year old, I contacted I spoke to Jensen, and they told me that this product has only a 3-month Was there anything I could do with Upon your return after 3 months, you have to pay $20 to even have it looked at in case it needs to be replaced or repaired. It costs only $24 for a CD player, so it is an excellent deal. In the event the problem was the cable, she offered to send me a new one. As of today, I have the cable, so the problem wasn't with it. It's the extremely poor manufacturing that creates the problem. Now that I was no longer worried about voiding a worthless warranty, I disassembled the CD player and found out why it was so cheap in its construction and design. There is so much junk inside here that it looks like it fell off Scuffed and poorly made, these shoes are not worth purchasing. It was hot glue instead of welding that held the wires in place. repairing it easier 1) I would think it was a special craft glue, but if it looks, smells, and acts like hot glue, I would think it In fact, the application sights even have little strings of glue between them. 3) The parts are held in place at least in three places using thin cardboard. There is welding on the motherboard, but it is one of the worst I have ever seen and it is not My shock at the fact that it broke within 10 months of manufacture is no longer as strong any more. The fact that it has survived for so long surprises me. The strain must have been so great that even sitting on my desk was difficult This item will take up your time, your desk space, and your money. I recommend you don't waste any time, money, or desk space on it. It is just a matter of time before you'll need to purchase a new one, if it is still working.

If you don't want to buy, please do not do so

I did not like this product at all! There shouldn't be an Amazon sale of this item. Employees of Jensen might be the ones who make any positive comments about the product. There is no illumination of the radio station call number on the tuner knob, where it should be. A list of songs on the CD is displayed only if the CD is recognized, after which it displays the CD's name. The message "NO" is displayed if it cannot read a CD. You will need to wait for broadcasts to announce a radio station's call letters in order to find your favorite radio station. this point, the tuner knob can be turned ever so slightly to the next station, and the process of waiting to hear the call letters can be repeated. It will only take a few repetitions of these steps to locate the correct station. There was a problem with the CD player where it would frequently get stuck and just keep playing the same thing over and over again. 3/4 or more of their stores have a disabled person CDs could not be played once they were bought. Most of my burned CDs failed to play, with only a few exceptions. It would be played by two at the most. I hope you will take my suggestion to heart. What is ineffective is this model. Back in the late 1990's, I worked at a Philips Magnavox return center, where certain models were consistently returned - this is why I make the statement that In most cases it is because of the low cost parts that go into the product. There are good circuit boards and less than good circuit boards made with cheaper materials that make the product saleable at such a low price. To have to go through the process of returning an item only adds to the frustration of your You might want to add another $25 to the budget. You may want to try the Sony at the price of 00. The return centers at Target, Walmart and other retail outlets throughout the United States were sending back all kinds of products, not just Magnavox. According to what I found out, the employee simply did not care to send it to the right company. There would only be one Sony every blue moon. The old saying "You get what you pay for" is true, and I had the chance to experience it firsthand.

A heavy user died after using heavily for six months
3/5

During the first six months of his life, died. All night long, we have a CD player running. Usually, they last between one year and two years. The one I have started to get twitchy after about six In other words, if you don't dedicate as much time to it as we do, it might be okay. I was able to use it successfully for a while.
