Hello Kitty Portable Stereo CD Boombox with AM/FM Radio, Speaker and LED Light Show plus iPad/MP3 Aux-in Jack

I will keep an eye on how well it holds up over time. I don't think it makes a big difference to the CD sound. I love the way it looks, and it's a bonus that it's so small, because I have just one round table to put things on in my nursery. There is nothing better than watching a light show at night. I was so excited to see her! Opening it, it would play a CD but would skip & jump around that way Nothing came out of my mouth. In my email to granddaughter, I asked if she would return the item My Amazon representative sent her a label for return so she would receive After buying the first one, I immediately purchased a second one She received it in two days thanks to Prime. We're happy with the new one & it works perfectly I am happy for now about my little Princess. In the meantime, I'm watching the Boom Box to see what its performance is like. Currently, everything seems to be going well! Here's the 2nd return for the same reason
April 27, 2017 Well this is the 2nd return including I have a CD player that will not start and Taking a break. I even had my granddaughter try her own tapes from her car and they worked as well. It is the same thing that I have read in other reviews. I would recommend moving on to another player and not buying this one. Your money will be better off if you save it!.

It's cute, I love the pulsating colors to the music, and my six year old enjoyed it as well. In spite of this, after approximately three weeks of playing CDs the machine has The music player hadn't been dropped it had been sat on a shelf playing. Although my daughter loves Hello Kitty, I'm convinced that electronic toys geared towards children are a total waste of money. It doesn't bother me who I buy things for - princess boom boxes, Hello Kitty - I always find them in the trash sooner than I As a result, we ended up getting a $20 CD boom box from Big Lots, which works great. It was such a disappointment, considering how much we paid for it and it was a Christmas present. The only reason I gave it two stars is because it works while it is cute. Nevertheless, since we used only for CDs, we were not bothered by the fact that it does not display radio stations.

Aside from the CD player breaking down, it was a good experience. My kids (three and five) are probably to blame for this. It lasted for about a month before it gave up on playing CDs. I'm sure they moved it a lot while the CD was playing, which was what probably contributed to its early demise. Despite that, as long as it was working, they loved it! A fine sound quality was also present. It would be nice if it lasted longer than a month for $45 instead. imagined that since it's geared towards kids and other reviewers are raving about how well it works for young children that it will be made to be a bit more man-friendly A CD player is more easily handled than the average one. She is just old enough to use this and it was purchased for her for Christmas (in Oct), so it is just right for her. Having been given the chance to use it for the first time, the design is very cute for a child, the radio and lights are awesome (hence the 2 stars) but the CD reader will not recognize any cd and it keeps cracking and popping when there is clearly one. With this boombox, I have had no issues with the radio or line-in, but with CDs I could either get the CD to skip or fail to play. Since CDs were the primary intended use, this is a deal breaker. After it failed again, I thought maybe I had just gotten a defective unit, so I asked for a replacement, but the replacement was also defective. A cheap laser module or another problem is likely the fault of the manufacturer. Don't be fooled by the cute design, it is a cute design, but it is a waste of time and money if it doesn't work. It is likely that you will need to return it two or three times if you buy it. It is possible that one day you'll find a good one. Seems like a lot of people are having trouble with this boombox, hope someone can help clarify whether it is the unit itself which is faulty or whether the seller "clearthewarehouse" relists.

It was cheaper on Amazon, so I bought it there despite having seen it elsewhere. I have so far had no problems with it. It was adorable how the lights changed.

My first CD player around Christmas was defective. As far as I can tell, the CD player on this one is currently working (although it makes a bit of noise when it plays the CD like most cheap CD players do, which is the only reason I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5). Similarly, the static or clicking sound that occurs when the lights flash on FM radio is not an issue with the replacement.

I can tell you that the lights are AMAZING. The replacement was worth the price if it keeps working for quite some time. It has an AUX input which we plug in my kindergartner's tablet, allowing her to listen to Disney music on Pandora while she falls asleep with the light show.
