I spent three days on the phone with Ooma customer service and heard a lot of ridiculous excuses. Finally, using a cat 6 cable, I connected the Ooma Telo Air 2 directly to my router, which worked flawlessly. I returned the Telo Air 2 and replaced it with a regular Ooma Telo, which I am very happy with. In addition, Ooma second level support informed me that satellite-based internet would not work with Ooma. I don't have satellite internet, but if you do, know what you're getting into. There were concerns about latency in the past, but I'm not sure that this is still the case today.
