The telephone. On an Avaya 9611g phone, I'm using this. The phone portion of the cable will connect to the appropriate headset and allow you to answer or end calls using the headset button. If you want to hear your phone ring in your headset, place the small round censor over the speaker. The censor is taped to the phone directly over the ring speaker with a small 3m tape. I've used these before, and the tape will eventually wear out. But it works as it should, and it arrived in two days! It was lightning quick!!.
We added the Plantronics Savi 740 Hands-free Headsets to our phones, but we couldn't answer the phone. Using only the headset, I was able to get off the phone. The APV-II is an APV-II that is used to 63 EHS adapter, we're now up and running and enjoying the freedom that a headset provides. It's very simple to connect. It was a perfect match for our headset. Additionally, the bulky manual lift adapter is no longer required with this electronic modal. Love it.
Unless my cordless headset breaks and I need to wait for a replacement, I will never use a corded headset again.
I replaced it with a used one that was only a third of the price, and it works perfectly. I'm sorry for the $37 I paid. For a faulty item, you'll be charged $88.
It is impossible to hear the person on the other end of the line. They are audible for a short time before going silent. This happens on a regular basis. We'd like to get it replaced as soon as possible. It's a shame they won't even give you a year's warranty on the product.
Someone asked if it worked with a Cisco phone in your item questions, and the answer is yes. Not true. I had to go back.
The adapter pairs perfectly with the Plantronics CS540 headset, allowing you to answer calls without having to use your hands.
It's not worth the money, and it doesn't function properly.
