XL1500 is compatible
XL2000 is what I have, and it has nothing to do with SD860 as far as I'm aware. No, I'm not sure if that machine will accept the correcting tape shown.
H21060 and H63412 are my phone numbers.

You'll make mistakes, just like with any typewriter, and you'll have to correct them. A computer would be ideal for this, but computers don't always do what I want them to. That's when a typewriter with a correctable ribbon comes in handy. Because these items are becoming increasingly difficult to come by, I usually buy multiples when I buy them. They're simple to set up and maintain, and there's something appealing about writing on a typewriter. I've been typing on a typewriter for about 60 years, but I also use a computer. There's also something appealing about a typewriter with a retractable ribbon. I'll keep using a typewriter as long as correctible ribbons are available. However, this type of ribbon is becoming increasingly hard to come by. When I bought them, I purchased several. I like the ribbon and plan to keep using it. Oh, and they're not difficult to set up. Simply take out the broken one, properly dispose of it, and replace it with a new one. Simple.
When my order arrived, it was half-broken. I returned it, and they've already sent me a replacement. That's fantastic service; I just hope it doesn't break this time.
It appears to work, but the Smith Corona correction ribbon must be matched with the Smith Corona print ribbon. br>I discovered that the 21000 type ribbon would work on its own, but there was no other vendor correction ribbon that would fit the Smith Corona. br>I couldn't get the type ribbon to snap on top of another vendor's correction ribbon.
I bought one, but it was ineffective - Each time I attempted to make a correction, the ribbon would bunch up. I ordered another one, thinking the first was defective, and it was the same. What's going on is a mystery to me. It's the same lift as before. I took some ribbon from a previous project and used it. The typewriter was examined and found to be in good working order.
It was broken when I received it.
I'm glad they're still in stock!.
Excellent craftsmanship.
My mother, who is 89 years old, still types on a typewriter. She has no intention of purchasing or operating a computer. She'll need to stock up on tape and correction tapes. Thank goodness you still have the ones she needs for her typewriter. Thank you very much.
