That is not the case. Only an Epson photo/negative scanner, I believe, will suffice.
I used a slide scanner adapter (which allowed me to scan multiple slides at the same time). This one is for negatives from photographs.
No, I tried, but it does not fold the negative as I had hoped. I just used this as a template and cut my own film holder, but it works fine for my 120 film 6x6.

This frame was purchased with the intention of scanning 620 film. It's an excellent solution. br>br>There have been complaints that it does not hold 620. They are incorrect in their assumptions. It does. br>br>I'm having a blast resurrecting old photographs.
Works, but only scans two negatives at a time, whereas the normal one can scan three (the normal number). I waste a lot of time re-scanning negatives. For a single photo, aligning the negatives is necessary. br>It's also difficult to align the film properly. I should've gotten the Epson brand holder instead.
So, yes, it does work. It works fine with my Epson V600, but it won't fit two 6x7 medium format frames in the two frame slot. It appears that 6x645 frames will fit, and I am confident that 6x6 frames will as well. However, if you shoot 6x7 or larger, as I do, this will not work perfectly. Instead, you'll have to manually scan each frame by sliding it back and forth.
However, this is only true if you use Epson software to select Film Area Guide.
Fits perfectly in the alignment spots and snaps shut securely. So far, there have been no issues.
I've been scanning negatives with my DSLR and a homemade lightbox for over a year, and I finally got those for use with 120 negatives. I tried it out for the first time today, and it worked great.
False claims are those that are made with the intention of deceiving the public It was purchased to replace the 120 holder that came with my Perfection 4180 scanner. It says it's compatible in the description. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. If you want to use it with an Epson Perfection 4180 Photo Scanner, don't buy it. Returning the favor.
It's ok. It's a little annoying how big the hole for the negatives is. Only two negatives can be scanned at a time, and the negatives' folding holder likes to push them out of alignment with the hole.
