Using their software and setting the printer to thermal print is all it takes to set it up, you just need to set it The applications print them, and they do so very well, too. didn't have much experience with label printers, nor did I own one before buying this product. All I wanted was a reliable product to print labels when I need to return things to online stores or send things to recipients. Previously, I had had ink printer issues since the ink had dried out from not printing on them for months at a time. While the product does include a CD for installation, I believe downloads will be quicker and easier. The installation of everything on Windows 10 was relatively quick and easy, although it did require some configuration as you set it up, which I would have expected. The provided instructions do a good job explaining the process, but I would recommend checking out the manual online because it provides more details and includes helpful pictures. In that regard, if you aren't the most technically savvy person, you may want to have someone help you set things up at first. As you could see on the test prints, I was initially concerned since it appeared that some of the ink was fading on one half of the label, but it turns out that this was only a test print problem. I was amazed at the print quality of my shipping labels after I started printing them. In the end, I was able to complete the task without any problems, whether it was due to a setting on my computer or something else. There are no perforated teeth included, so if you only use perforated labels (like the ones included with the printer), the included perforated teeth will be a nice touch. My overall impression of this printer is from how well it performs to how affordable it is, and I would recommend it to anyone.
