Is this compatible with the Brother MFC 5890CN color printer?

It's not going to happen, in my opinion.

For the MFC 825 DW color printer, a paper tray is required. Is this a viable solution?

IT WILL NOT HAPPEN. A TRAY THAT WORKS WITH THE 825 DW IS REQUIRED. THIS ONE IN PARTICULAR IS INCOMPATIBLE, BUT I BELIEVE THE SAME SELLER HAS ONE THAT IS.

I made a mistake and sent the incorrect message

There was no paperwork in the paper tray when it arrived. I attempted to install the paper tray in the Brother printer, but it would not work. I'm not sure if the paper tray is even compatible with a Brother printer because there are no markings on it. I'm very disappointed, and I'll have to order another one. It's difficult to return the box without paperwork, and it's already gone.
